After frequent perms and blow-dries, my ends were really split and my hair felt dry and rough. There were even so many spots where my brush would keep catching, ugh… ㅠㅠ

Hair condition check before the treatment

She checked my hair so thoroughly! She said my hair was very fine and quite damaged. The dryness and roughness were a bonus, too...

You know those ends that get really split and broken, with those white spots...? I was told that if you do not care for them, the damage travels upward! She said I urgently needed some care...! I guess it is because I recently got a perm and have been blow-drying a lot 🥺

At a glance, you might wonder whether it is that damaged! But as you can see in the photo, it was limp with no strength, and the poor texture really stood out.

Inner Keratin Clinic treatment process

So, the clinic treatment I received today was the “Inner Keratin Clinic”! It fills the inside of dry hair with natural moisturizing factors, opens the hair cuticle, and helps protein, moisture, and lipids penetrate deeply. Let me show you the process right away!

First, I received a detox shampoo in the shampoo room. This step clears away buildup from the hair surface so the care products can absorb well. You just lie down for about 5–10 minutes.

Once the detox shampoo was done, I returned to my seat. They gave me a drink and snacks then. There was even a charger already set out, so you do not have to ask for one! Sometimes I feel oddly embarrassed to ask for a charger, haha, but I loved that it was prepared in advance.

Next, they carefully applied a protein-replenishing formula. This is the step that makes the hair soft and strong with keratin protein! I put on a heating cap and waited a little while. It is the process of helping the keratin protein penetrate inside the hair!

Then I had nano steam for about 20 minutes. I was told this opens the hair cuticle to speed up absorption and helps the treatment last longer!

Care continues in a private spa room

After about 20 minutes of steam, I moved to the spa room. But this spa room was seriously amazing... With gentle music and a completely private space away from the outside, it felt like real relaxation. And the chair was even a massage chair... It is a space where you can receive care while getting a massage!

The care continued in the spa room. Along with the treatment, I also got a head massage, and all my fatigue just melted away~

Getting treated while sitting in a massage chair was so healing... And that completes the clinic treatment!

Can you see my ends after the treatment? There was no trace of split ends or roughness! My stylist said the nourishment had absorbed really well.

At the end, she gave my hair a light blow-dry too. I had plans afterward, so it was nice to head straight to my next appointment with my hair lightly styled!
