Moonbird's wide-open panoramic view in Yangju

I visited Moonbird, a large café in Yangju where I could shake off that stifled feeling and properly enjoy a wide-open panoramic view.

Moonbird is already so well known as a large café in Yangju that everyone from Uijeongbu and Yangju seems to know it, haha. I had saved it on my map too, and when I finally got the chance to visit, the open view made my heart feel so refreshed~~! It was sooo nice.

It is famous for its view, but I was even more excited before going because the ingredients used in its desserts sounded premium too. They use French flour, Elle & Vire butter, and Lescure whipping cream, while the drinks use fresh coffee beans and house-made fruit syrups. It felt like every menu item had been carefully considered, so I had high hopes, haha.

A spacious building, garden, and parking area

First of all, the exterior was really large and had such an upscale feel. The building, yard, and parking lot were all huge~~! The scale of the building was substantial and the parking spaces were well laid out, so I do not think you would need to worry at all about parking if you come by car.

Look at that skyㅜㅜ Coming to Moonbird meant getting to see a sky this gorgeous too, haha. I felt so healed before I had even gone inside. The weather was nice, so I considered sitting in the garden but headed indoors instead, hahaha. The surrounding garden is beautifully arranged and felt well maintained, so it looked great for a stroll or photos too~! I was already feeling refreshed before entering the café.

Expansive scenery from every seat

The interior was also incredibly spacious and comfortable. More than anything, I really loved the unobstructed scenery unfolding outside the windows. Nothing blocked the view, so the outdoors came into sight all at once; looking at it felt like the pressure in my chest just opened right up~~!! It seemed like you could enjoy the view wherever you sat, which made choosing a seat fun too, haha.

The usage information was clearly displayed throughout, which was convenient. The restrooms are indoors and separated by gender, and there is even a photo spot~~ The tables and chairs were simple yet upscale overall, fitting the café's spacious, comfortable feel perfectly. When I entered, I saw staff maintaining the indoor floor and outdoor area, and it made me think this was a place that is well cleaned and cared for.

Care-kids and no-kids zone guide

Moonbird divides its space into care-kids zones in Hall A and the garden, and a no-kids zone in Hall B. Pets are not allowed either indoors or outdoors, which felt like a thoughtful consideration for those looking for a quiet, comfortable atmosphere.

Chestnut cake and coffee

The menu was quite varied, from coffee and all kinds of drinks to bingsu (shaved ice), and as you would expect from a bakery café, there was a huge selection of bread too~~!! So many things looked delicious that we had a hard time deciding, but we ordered the tempting bonui-bam cake, made with peeled chestnuts, and coffee.

The Americano had a nutty coffee-bean flavor and was clean without any burnt taste, while the latte was smooth and nutty, making it easy to drink. The cake had a gentle buttery aroma, and the sweetness of the chestnuts went so well with the coffee, hahaha.

I especially liked Zone B because it had such a quiet, calm atmosphere. I saw quite a few people on laptops, so it looked like a good spot to spend some relaxed time alone or work quietly.

With its spacious, comfortable setting, pretty garden, and refreshing panoramic view, it was a great café to visit when I needed a change of pace.
