How a semi-permanent eyebrow tattoo works, step by step
The 15-minute wait after the numbing cream
First, they applied numbing cream. This step is meant to reduce discomfort in the area before the eyebrow tattoo begins. After applying it, I waited for about 15 minutes.
Consultation at Siere Brow: brow shape, color and technique
After the numbing cream, they consulted with me on the eyebrow shape, color, technique, and intensity I wanted, designing it to match my current brow shape, my facial bone structure, and the overall image I wanted!
They said it's fine to bring a photo if you have a specific eyebrow shape in mind.
My current eyebrow state was as follows.
- Straight eyebrows
- Left-right asymmetry
- Traces remaining from a previous semi-permanent tattoo
This time, I told them I wanted a sleek, clean-looking brow with a slight arch and an elongated tail. 🤍
Sketching an arched brow design that fixes the asymmetry
Starting from the sketching stage, they matched the height and length of both eyebrows, naturally correcting the asymmetry.
After confirming the eyebrow shape myself and setting the design this way, the procedure began. ✨
The finished brows right after the tattoo
And I checked out the finished eyebrows, which I was most curious about... They came out much more natural than I expected, so I was satisfied! 🥹🤍
The asymmetry my original eyebrows had was clearly reduced, and they turned out with the sleek, arched line I wanted. Best of all, even though I'd gotten an eyebrow tattoo, they didn't look dark or unnatural from the start, which I liked even more.
Siere Brow aftercare rules for the first week
After the procedure, they carefully explained the aftercare precautions for the eyebrow semi-permanent tattoo. First, they said to minimize water contact on the treated area until the next day, and to avoid oily cleansing products or anything that could irritate the area for about 7 days. They also gave me an aftercare cream to apply on my eyebrows. They said to apply this cream 1–2 times a day for about 5 days, following the instructions provided. 😊
What the brows looked like on day 2
And here are my eyebrows on day 2 after the procedure! The color wasn't overly dark and looked natural, which I liked. 🤍 It's still early after the procedure, so I'll need to keep watching how the color settles naturally over time, but so far I'm really satisfied!
Usually it took quite a while every time I did makeup since I had to draw in my eyebrows first, but now that the shape is somewhat set, I'm looking forward to shorter morning makeup time haha
