Gangnam tteokbokki restaurant for creamy Toowoomba: Mil Tteok Factory
In short
Mil Tteok Factory Main Branch is a tteokbokki restaurant near Sinsa Station in Gangnam, Seoul. Before my dress tour, my friend and I filled up on 20,000 won Toowoomba tteokbokki, butter braised-beef rice, and butter garlic fries; the chewy rice cakes and ramen noodles that did not go soggy were especially good. Verdict: A place I want to revisit when I crave creamy tteokbokki near Sinsa Station.

A filling tteokbokki meal with a friend before my dress tour

I went on a dress tour this week~!!🤭 A close friend came along that day to help me look at dresses, and we filled up on delicious tteokbokki before the tour!🩷
Finding Mil Tteok Factory Main Branch near Sinsa Station
Mil Tteok Factory Main Branch is by Exit 8 of Sinsa Station. It is open daily from 11:30 AM to 9:20 PM, and you can use a nearby public parking lot.

Mil Tteok Factory is a delicious tteokbokki spot near Sinsa Station~!!😆 It had been ages since I last had tteokbokki, so I was sooo excited!! For parking, a nearby public lot is a good choice😆🌸 We parked at Singoo Elementary School Public Parking Lot!

To reach Mil Tteok Factory Main Branch, head down to the basement of Seongmi Building~!!🩷 Even the way down to the basement was cute and atmospheric ><

The cute logo posted at the entrance😍 The restroom was also right beside the entrance!

Plenty of seating and a self-service bar
When we went in, the owner welcomed us kindly, and there were plenty of seats😆💕 I feel like tteokbokki places always have such kind owners! (It somehow feels like that has been true since I was little..🤭💖)

At the self-service bar, you can pick up danmuji (pickled radish), water, wet wipes, aprons, and more💕 Order through the kiosk at each table!

Creamy Toowoomba tteokbokki M
Toowoomba tteokbokki M (₩20,000). We ordered the creamy Toowoomba tteokbokki (rice cakes in a creamy sauce)~!! I love Toowoomba, so I love menus like this—and my friend happened to want it too, so we decided on it straight away!!💖

It came with quail eggs, bacon, ramen noodles, shrimp, fish cakes, rice cakes, glass noodles, scallions, and more, and the portion was incredibly generous❣️ I was surprised because there were even more ingredients than I expected🙊

Side dishes to have with tteokbokki
Butter jangjorim rice (rice with soy-braised beef, ₩6,000). When you are having tteokbokki or bunsik (Korean snack foods), you simply cannot skip the sides, right?🤭💕 The butter jangjorim rice went well with the tteokbokki, so it was great to eat together🩷

Butter garlic fries (₩6,500). Whenever I went to other tteokbokki places before, I absolutely had to order butter garlic fries, and Mil Tteok Factory's were sooo delicious too❣️❣️ That irresistible sauce, seriously...🙈 (The tteokbokki is tteokbokki, but there is me going just for the butter garlic fries...🤭😂hahaha)

The tteokbokki itself was already a big portion, but with all the side dishes too, we had such a plentiful and filling meal🤭 I was so happy to have bunsik again after such a long time ><

Ramen noodles that stayed firm and chewy rice cakes
The glass noodles and ramen noodles did not get soggy, and they were delicious too❣️ The rice cakes were wonderfully chewy as well🩷 I am usually on team rice cake, so I do not eat fish cakes much, but even the fish cakes at Mil Tteok Factory were delicious☺️

It was also delicious to eat the tteokbokki cream together with the butter jangjorim rice, and I finally had really tasty tteokbokki again after a long time❣️ Next time I want tteokbokki around Sinsa Station, I am planning to visit Mil Tteok Factory again ><
- Tteokbokki packed with generous ingredients💕
- Butter garlic fries💕
- A kind owner💕
