Suwon restaurant with limited lasagna and corn pizza: Low Five Sinpung

Suwon Hwaseong Fortress, Haenggung-dong restaurant date recommendation! Such a famous spot!

I visited a corn-pizza restaurant that allows pets. My friends absolutely love Low Five's corn pizza, so

we decided to try some new dishes today, too!

Low Five Sinpung is less than a five-minute walk from Low Five.

It is right in the middle of Haenggung-dong's restaurant alley, so it is really easy to find.

From the exterior alone, Low Five Sinpung has such a European feel.

There is no parking support, so you need to use a nearby public parking lot. Those lots are often full on weekends too, so public transit is the better option.

You can join the waitlist through Catch Table. Inside Low Five Sinpung, I also saw office workers dining together at the long table, almost like a work dinner. From comfortable sofa tables and round tables to sunny window-side bar seats, it looked great for couples, friend groups, and all kinds of gatherings.

Here is the self-service bar! Hot sauce, cheese powder, wet wipes, and tissues are available. Jalapeños come with the meal, but if you need pickles, just ask a staff member separately!

The regular favorite: corn pizza

Corn pizza: ₩25,000. Corn pizza really is the original classic—the thrill of trying it for the first time is still there.

My friends love Low Five's corn pizza so, so much that they come back for it regularly!

The sweet white truffle cream sauce—with my friend, who is extremely sensitive to spice, saying even the corn pizza had a tiny kick—plus bacon, chili shrimp, and butter seasoning make an incredible pairing with the charred corn.

This soft, puffy pizza crust is the charm of wood-fired pizza, haha.

It is wonderfully fluffy overall, and dipping it into the shrimp spicy rigatoni sauce made it even better.

If you love wood-fired pizza and are looking for a great restaurant while on a date around Suwon Hwaseong Fortress in Haenggung-dong, I recommend, and recommend again, visiting Low Five Sinpung for its corn pizza. It is truly a top-tier dish!

Limited classic lasagna

Classic lasagna (limited quantity): ₩23,000. Low Five Sinpung sells this classic lasagna in limited quantities every day! It is cooked in the dish it is served in, so the plate is very hot—be careful!!

It is topped generously with tomato ragù sauce simmered for a long time. Lasagna sheets and cheese are layered throughout. Soft and full of cheesy aroma, haha.

Warming shrimp spicy rigatoni

Shrimp spicy rigatoni: ₩18,000

This spicy rigatoni pasta is piled with shrimp and packed with button mushrooms and bacon. As its name suggests, it is warming and spicy! The spicy cream sauce fills the round rigatoni tubes, so even one bite spreads plenty of rich, moist sauce across your mouth.

The thick rigatoni, which can be difficult to cook, had just the right bite and went so well with the creamy sauce. Such a delicious pasta.

The shrimp were plump, and the bacon pieces were thick, making the texture really fun.

A recommended dish if you enjoy spicy food and want to add some heat to an Italian-style meal!
