Today I went to Rolling Pasta, a well-known pasta spot near Suwon Station! I've been going regularly since my college days because it's good value and tasty — and once I heard they have lasagna and gnocchi, I rushed right over haha.
I've been eating at a lot of pricier, tastier places lately so I worried my palate might have gotten too picky, but honestly, it was still delicious lol. And there were seriously so many solo diners there!! Highly recommend if you're looking for a solo-dining spot near Suwon Station.

Rolling Pasta Suwon Station Branch is right in front of Exit 11 and Exit 7 of Suwon Station, so it's super convenient to get to! Lots of buses stop right outside too, so I'd recommend taking public transit!
That building everyone knows in front of Exit 11 of Suwon Station! It's right on the 2nd floor, so it's really easy to find.

Once you go in, the interior is genuinely classy and clean.
Clean is a given, but I also liked that the tables were spaced pretty far apart.
The self-serve bar is well stocked too. You can grab pickles yourself, which actually felt more comfortable — no need to feel awkward asking. Just help yourself to whatever you need!

There was even so much cheese it was oozing out. The layered sheets were soft and melted right in your mouth, and the tomato sauce had a great savory depth too! There was so much cheese that if you're a cheese lover, I highly, highly recommend this lol. Getting lasagna this good at this price is genuinely so satisfying... 😎😎
Vongole pasta: plenty of clams, seasoning right on point

There were way more clams than I expected, and the seasoning was spot on. The clean, briny flavor from the clams blended really well with the oil, and I was very satisfied. I usually only eat aglio e olio, so having vongole felt refreshingly different and was so good (●'◡'●)
Gnocchi: thick cream sauce with a strong potato flavour
Gnocchi!!! Honestly, even at well-known pasta restaurants, gnocchi isn't offered that often, you know? But Rolling Pasta has gnocchi... and it's even cheap? I really wasn't expecting much...
You all need to try this lol. First off, the portion is huge, and the gnocchi itself was better than expected? No, honestly way better than expected.
It's not the chewy type of gnocchi, but it's soft, and above all the potato flavor really came through — I loved that so much.
On top of that, the cream sauce was thick and rich, and it paired really well ㅠㅠ Gnocchi lovers, you really need to try this one... I'm used to paying ₩20,000–30,000 for gnocchi, so getting it this cheap at Rolling Pasta near Suwon Station felt amazing... and it's even actually tasty on top of that...?
It's kind of a Suwon Station view too, so the view was great as a bonus!! 😊😊 I finished it off by cleaning my plate completely 😎😎😎

It's been famous as an affordable Italian spot for a while now, but wow, coming back now, the prices are still ridiculously good, and the taste is just as crazy good lol. Honestly, instead of paying ₩20,000–30,000 for lasagna or gnocchi somewhere else, I'd rather just come to Rolling Pasta near Suwon Station... the taste is genuinely great too.
The interior, the vibe — nothing about this place is lacking, so if you're looking for a good date spot near Suwon Station, highly recommend (●'◡'●) Oh!
