An affordable Suwon Station favorite where both the pasta and steak are delicious: Rolling Pasta Suwon Station Branch.
I was at Suwon Station and spotted Rolling Pasta Suwon Station Branch right in front of the station, so I went in for a solo meal 😋 Rolling Pasta is a place I really love because you can always get delicious Western food at a reasonable price no matter when you go! This time I had the chop steak and salad, and it was so, so good that I have to recommend it as a Suwon Station restaurant 🩷

There's a sign welcoming solo diners at the front door of Rolling Pasta Suwon Station Branch. I visited on a weekday lunch and more than half the customers were actually dining alone. Going up to the 2nd floor, there's a menu board with photos of the various dishes, and they all looked so delicious 😋 If you're looking for a good solo-dining spot near Suwon Station, I recommend Rolling Pasta Suwon Station Branch!
The inside was much bigger and more comfortable than I expected from the outside. With high ceilings and lots of tables, it had a clean vibe that made it easy to eat comfortably — plenty of 4-person and 2-person tables meant it looked good for gatherings with friends but was also perfect for solo dining.
What I ordered and the prices
That day at Rolling Pasta Suwon Station Branch, I ordered chop steak for ₩15,900 (with a fried egg topping add-on for ₩1,000), a ricotta cheese salad for ₩7,000, and a Zero Coke for ₩2,000. I went back and forth looking at all the menu options, but for some reason I was craving meat that day, so I PICKed the steak!
Rolling Pasta's pasta is genuinely delicious, but honestly the risotto, doria, pizza, and steak are all great too — it's a Western food restaurant where whatever you choose turns out well haha 🥰 Ordering through the table kiosk was really convenient.
After ordering, you just set up your own spoon, fork, water, and pickles from the self-serve bar!
The chop steak and ricotta cheese salad came out not long after ordering ✨✨ They look so appetizing just from the visuals, right?
It's really great to be able to eat high-quality Western food at such a nice price! I came alone, but with the good atmosphere and great-looking dishes, I'd also recommend this as a date spot near Suwon Station ♡
Ricotta cheese salad, ₩7,000 — the taste
The ricotta cheese salad at Rolling Pasta Suwon Station Branch had generous round chunks of ricotta cheese in the center, along with various salad greens, croutons, walnuts, and cherry tomatoes — a hearty yet healthy salad. It was even more delicious with the balsamic dressing and sweet honey added!
The ricotta cheese and balsamic dressing went so well together — the mild sourness of the balsamic dressing brought the flavor of the plain ricotta to life! The combination of the soft cheese and the sweet-and-sour dressing was fresh and delicious.
The quality of the salad vegetables was especially good, and the ricotta cheese was soft and tasty, so pairing it with the steak worked really well! Having vegetables alongside the meal made it feel healthier — honestly it felt more healthy and filling than salads from dedicated salad shops haha.

The chop steak became even heartier and more appetizing with the ₩1,000 fried egg topping added. Chop steak is beef and various vegetables stir-fried in a demi-glace sauce, and this sauce had insane umami — it was the kind of taste that just kept going down 🤎 In particular, there were generous amounts of meat, mushrooms, vegetables, and bell peppers, so the textures were varied and it was even more enjoyable to eat!
The steak meat was so, so tender and delicious!! The sweet flavor unique to grilled vegetables like onions and mushrooms blended with the demi-glace sauce, bringing out a mild sweetness and umami — I enjoyed this chop steak deliciously right to the last bite, and it's a dish I highly recommend!! It's great for sharing with a group, but the portion was also just right eating it alone as a single dish 🥰
