Hapjeong café open till 10pm, summer terrace drips: Central Site

Aren't you looking for a spot near Hapjeong where you can talk late into the night AND get seriously good coffee haha? I skipped the noisy bar alleys and went hunting for somewhere quiet but full of atmosphere! This is my honest review of Central Site Hapjeong, a roastery café that's become popular by word of mouth among drip coffee fans near Hapjeong Station haha.

Honestly, I've had a disappointing experience at another roastery café before where the beans were way too sharp and sour and I just felt like I wasted my money ㅠㅠ But here, the hand-drip beans brought out their flavor perfectly and I kept gasping in admiration the whole time I was drinking!

There's a neat window bar table where you can sit and watch the street under soft bulb lighting! Visiting at night, the lighting added such a nice mood — perfect for enjoying a solo café moment haha.

Stepping inside, you're greeted by a counter with that unmistakable professional roastery feel!

There's a large roasting machine right in the store where they roast the beans themselves, which really gives off an expert vibe haha.

Seeing the beans managed so systematically really boosted my confidence in the coffee's quality!

Our order arrived beautifully set out on the wooden terrace table haha. We tried two coffees and a tiramisu. Something about this little table just screams MZ-generation aesthetic these days..!??

A cup of summer-night coffee outdoors in the breeze was pure healing!

Setting the tray on the outdoor bench made for an instant Instagram-worthy photo haha.

Blending with the dark night air, the terrace atmosphere felt even deeper haha. It's the perfect spot to sip a drink and soak in the quiet of a Hapjeong alleyway haha.

The tray even came with the drink and bean info card carefully placed on it, which made me feel well taken care of!

How was the tiramisu at Central Site Hapjeong?

This tiramisu was generously dusted with cocoa powder, and the inside looked really moist!

Taking a big bite, the mascarpone cream melted in my mouth ㅠㅠ And there was grated chocolate on top — you absolutely have to eat this with it...

A chilled coffee in a glass that fit perfectly in hand really cut through the heat haha. The clear ice and glowing coffee color looked refreshing just to look at!

Ethiopia and Guatemala filter coffee: prices and taste

Here we ordered the Ethiopia and Guatemala filter coffees!

They're priced at ₩9,000 and ₩8,000 respectively, and the beans' natural aroma and layered flavor came through so delicately, it was worth every won!!

The tiramisu we ordered alongside had a moist sponge and cream that wasn't too sweet, so the pairing with the coffee was artful! And best of all, I loved that they're open late into the night, and the interior atmosphere was fantastic too haha. The terrace seating was quiet and had great ambience for conversation, and the coffee — well, it speaks for itself, so good it made the whole visit perfect!
