Indian restaurant in Songdo with curry pasta and samosas: Manokamana
In short
Manokamana Songdo Branch is an Indian restaurant in Yeonsu, Incheon, near Songdo Central Park. We shared butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, naan, samosas, and prawn curry pasta for 52,000 won. Verdict: add naan midway through the meal so it arrives warm.

The weather has been so nice since last weekend, and when it is, people in Incheon have to head out to Songdo Central Park~~ There are lots of festivals and expos in autumn, and Manokamana Songdo Branch, right in front of Convencia, is such a delicious restaurant that anyone who loves curry will leave very, very satisfied.
Manokamana Songdo Branch location and parking
If you park in Building G of the shopping complex in front of Convencia, you get 2 hours of parking support. The parking area is spacious too, which is great.

Take the elevator to the first floor and there it is—Manokamana, the Indian restaurant!
Daily 10:30–22:30
No break time is Manokamana's biggest advantage. They welcome you warmly whenever you go.

If finding your way is difficult, just follow these banners placed around the building. The restroom is the shared one on the first floor of the building!
The atmosphere and how to order

As soon as you enter, there is a sink. Since it is Indian food, you should wash your hands nice and clean before eating.

Once you sit down, even the music gives the place an exotic feel. There are quite a lot of seats, plus a group room farther inside, so it seems great for reservations too.
And I learned this time that Manokamana pours all the water for you like this, hahaha. Is that Indian culture...?

I don't know,,,, I don't know much about foreign cultures,,, I just know how to enjoy curry... haha. Scan the QR code or NFC tag to open the ordering menu~

I usually only go to the Triple Street location, so it had been a while since I came to the Songdo branch. The menu was much more varied here. There were lots of tandoori choices and plenty of appetizers too.

Pakoda / a fried dish made with chopped fresh vegetables, onions, and chili peppers. My mom debated whether to get this, but we had already ordered samosas,,, so we decided to try it next time.

We ordered so many different things, haha.

Samosas are Nepalese dumplings made with potatoes and vegetables. I always only order individual dishes for my mom and dad, so they were curious about what these were, and we tried them = haha. The potato filling looks incredibly soft. (Actually, I couldn't eat one,,, because my upset stomach was ongoing.)

They come with a slightly spicy sauce, and apparently they are delicious and not greasy when eaten together with the dumplings. (I couldn't eat it either, part 2.)

Then the naan and curry arrived! If you love curry, I recommend one curry per person. The curries here are neither too salty nor overly intense, so you end up eating more than you expect~

If you want curry with just a liiittle heat, order one of the masala curries.

If you want the most basic, non-spicy curry, order butter chicken curry.

If you come as a group, I recommend ordering at least one butter chicken curry.

Tandoori roti, butter naan, and curry heat
And a bread we tried for the first time! With my stomach feeling bad, I gave up butter naan that day and had whole-wheat bread instead.

Tandoori roti / it is said to be a traditional Indian low-calorie whole-wheat flour bread baked in a tandoor, and you can tell it is whole wheat just from the color, haha.

It is pleasantly plain, so if you like basic naan, you will probably love this too. Chicken tikka masala is on the left and butter chicken is on the right! They are tomato sauce-based curries with different heat levels, and the spice level is just right—even people who cannot handle spicy food can eat them.

This glossy naan is butter naan~ It is actually muuuch tastier, hahaha.

My mom and dad pile on that much curry at a time. I normally eat that much too,,,ㅠㅠ And we added more naan midway through~ Rather than ordering all the naan at the start, I recommend adding it midway through so you can eat it warm.

Adding prawn curry pasta
While adding more to the order, we got pasta too... haha.

I definitely only had one slice of whole-wheat bread, but those two even finished the pasta,,,, I think my mom and dad like Manokamana more than I do, hahaha. The pasta portion is not huge and it is not expensive either, so if you get tired of having only naan and curry, I recommend ordering one~ I barely got to eat because of the upset-stomach situation, so I need to go back soon and order rice too.
