These days, as Pengsoo has been growing so much, I’ve been craving all sorts of things. For days, I couldn’t stop thinking about a salty, topping-loaded, classic American-style pizza. So without a second thought, I headed straight to the super-hot Jackson Pizza Wirye Branch, a pizza spot in Wirye.

It was already famous for the quality of its dough and toppings, so I’d always been curious. After finally visiting, I immediately understood why everyone raves about it. On top of that, I received an unexpected pregnancy benefit, which made this visit feel extra touching.

It is located near Wirye Plaza, so it is easy to get to. The red, retro-style sign stands out right away, making the place easy to find.

Once inside, the stylish interior had the distinctive feel of an American pizza pub. There were plenty of delivery and takeaway customers, but the dining area was also kept very clean and pleasant, so we could settle in and eat comfortably. The staff welcomed us so brightly and kindly that I felt happy from the moment I walked in.

It was so perfect that I genuinely want to come back and order this pasta on its own next time—I highly recommend it.

Since I planned to pack up any leftovers, I ordered the regular size for two, which was just right alongside our side dish. The toppings were so substantial, and we had filled up on pasta too, so a little pizza was left. When I cautiously asked a staff member, they carefully packed it into a very neat and pretty dedicated box. Even after taking it home and reheating it lightly in the air fryer the next day, the dough was as chewy and delicious as if it had just come out of the oven, so I happily finished every last slice.
