Seongnam shabu-shabu restaurant with split broth at Dadam

I visited Dadam Shabu Shabu & Wolnamssam Wirye Branch, where you can enjoy a generous spread from meat to wolnamssam (Vietnamese rice-paper wraps). It is known as an unlimited shabu-shabu specialist where you can enjoy Grade 1 vegetables selected at Garak Market, fresh wrap ingredients, beef, and even a cafeteria all in one go.

Dadam Shabu Shabu & Wolnamssam Wirye Branch: location and parking near Namwirye Station

You can use the G&G Plaza parking lot, with three hours of free parking. I loved that the parking time was so generous—there is even enough time to take a walk around the nearby park after your meal :)

We visited at weekend lunchtime, and as expected of a popular Wirye restaurant, there was a wait haha. If you are visiting on a weekend, I think making a reservation ahead of time would be nice, since you could go straight in without waiting.

Even the entrance outside looked neat, and once we went in, the restaurant was more spacious and pleasant than I expected.

The tables were generously spaced, so it was comfortable, and there were window seats and sofa seats too. It felt like a place many people visit not only for friends and dates, but also for family meals and gatherings.

Split broth and unlimited-refill prices

We ordered for two adults and one preschooler, and chose the split broth. It was great to enjoy both the clean, mild broth and the pleasantly spicy broth at once. I especially recommend the split broth if you are visiting with a child haha.

Weekday dinner/public holiday adult (unlimited beef): ₩21,900 per person; preschool child (ages 4–7): ₩8,000

You can enjoy shabu-shabu, wolnamssam, beef, and even dessert ice cream and coffee, so I thought the price was really reasonable. ☺️

Fresh vegetables and generous shabu-shabu ingredients

The biggest strength of Dadam Shabu Shabu & Wolnamssam was definitely its fresh ingredients.

There were more than 40 kinds of vegetables, delivered daily from Garak Market. Seeing them in person, they were in such great condition—every piece was crisp and fresh, and you could tell just by looking. 🥬

Shabu-shabu really needs a varied, delicious selection of vegetables, and it was fun choosing from so many kinds.

From mushrooms to sujebi dough flakes, ramen noodles, dumplings, fish balls, and cheese sweet-potato rice cakes, there was such a variety that we could fill our plates exactly as we liked~~

Tender beef and delicious Vietnamese rice-paper wraps

There were two kinds of beef: beef chuck roll and beef belly slices.

Since it was unlimited refill, we could enjoy as much as we wanted without feeling shorted, and the meat was tender and tasty too. 👍

The item we ate almost as much as the shabu-shabu that day was the wolnamssam! Haha. The rice paper was square, so it was easy to make the wraps and tuck all the fillings inside.

Wrapping up fresh vegetables and dipping them in sauce made the vegetables even more delicious to eat.

My child is usually picky about meat because they have a sensitive palate, so I was surprised when they kept saying the meat was delicious and eating more haha.

I thought they only liked galbi, but seeing them eat shabu-shabu beef this well made me so proud as a parent 🥹

Even when visiting with children, there are plenty of things to eat—meat, vegetables, mushrooms, tofu, ham, and rice cakes—so I think it would be great for a family meal.

Porridge, coffee, and ice cream to finish

After enjoying the shabu-shabu and wolnamssam, you can even make juk (Korean rice porridge).

We were already so full that we sadly skipped the porridge, but the ice cream and coffee were perfect for rounding things out!

For dessert, the child enjoyed ice cream, while the adults had iced coffee and even affogato.

It was great that we could take care of everything from the meal to dessert in one place without going to a separate café haha.

Dadam Shabu Shabu & Wolnamssam Wirye Branch is spacious and pleasant, with 40 kinds of fresh vegetables, unlimited beef, and wolnamssam to enjoy. It is great to visit with children, and I would recommend it for family meals or gatherings.
