Naju pork cutlet restaurant, kimchi nabe 3-dish lunch: Jinsim Wang
In short
Jinsim Wang Donkkaseu Naju Innovation Branch is a pork cutlet restaurant on Ujeong-ro in Bitgaram Innovation City, Naju, South Jeolla. On a weekday lunch with a child, the writer ordered wang donkkaseu (giant pork cutlet) at 10,900 won, jjolmyeon (chewy spicy cold noodles) and kimchi nabe together to compare crisp fried cutlet, tangy-spicy noodles and cutlet softened in hot broth in one meal. With baby chairs, a dedicated lot giving 2 hours free parking and a self-serve bar, Jinsim Wang Donkkaseu is an easy pick for a family lunch.

While looking for a good pork cutlet spot in Naju, I found Jinsim Wang Donkkaseu Naju Innovation Branch. Since it's in Naju Innovation City, it's a convenient location when you're trying to decide on a family meal or lunch spot with a kid.
What stood out was that it's not just a pork cutlet place — with jjolmyeon (spicy chewy noodles) and kimchi nabe (kimchi hot pot) also on the menu, it's a good spot for group dining too. What I ordered was wang donkkaseu (giant pork cutlet), jjolmyeon and kimchi nabe, and the combination of the three flavors worked really well.

Inside Jinsim Wang Donkkaseu: baby chairs and the self-serve bar
Stepping inside, the whole place felt spacious and bright. The tables are laid out with plenty of room, and baby chairs are available, so it looked comfortable for families with kids. Even at this hour, there were other families with kids there too.
The self-serve bar had soup, udon broth, wrap vegetables, pickled radish, kimchi and ssamjang (seasoned soybean paste) set out.

The warm soup was soft and savory, a nice light bite before diving into the cutlet. Two bowls of that soup, no question, haha!!

There's also a self-packing station where you can box up leftovers yourself, so if the portions are too much, you can take them to go.

Jinsim Wang Donkkaseu menu and prices
If you're looking into pork cutlet spots in Naju Innovation City, you're probably curious about the menu and prices too. Jinsim Wang Donkkaseu is ₩10,900, and the Cheese Waterfall Donkkaseu is listed at ₩15,900.

Jinsim Tteokbokki (spicy stir-fried rice cakes) is ₩7,000, and beyond the wang donkkaseu, you can also choose from jjolmyeon, kalguksu (knife-cut noodles), udon, naengmyeon (cold noodles), and more.

How was the wang donkkaseu (giant pork cutlet)?
The wang donkkaseu I chose was generous from the start — a size that filled the whole plate.

Biting into the breading, the crispy crunch comes first, then the light, savory flavor of the loin follows through.
The parts with the sweet donkkaseu sauce turned soft and moist, while the edges with less sauce kept a nice crunch.

What stuck with me most was eating the cutlet wrapped with the fresh vegetables. Partway through the wang donkkaseu, pairing that savory fried flavor with crisp vegetables freshened up my mouth completely.

Why order jjolmyeon and kimchi nabe with the cutlet?
Adding jjolmyeon in was a great combo — right as the cutlet started feeling a bit heavy, the tangy, spicy seasoning cut right through it.

Taking a bite of wang donkkaseu and then following it with jjolmyeon, the chewy, bouncy noodles with that tangy-spicy kick completely reset my palate.

The kimchi nabe had a whole different charm. Unlike the crispy wang donkkaseu, this cutlet had soaked up the broth and turned soft and moist.

The kimchi's sharp, tangy broth flavor hits first, then the savory taste of the cutlet spreads through — the two flavors came together more naturally than I expected. Oily cutlet with kimchi — need I say more? Haha!!

Adding rice to the warm broth at the end made it a satisfying, filling way to finish the meal.
Is Jinsim Wang Donkkaseu worth a family lunch in Naju?
If you're looking for a good pork cutlet spot in Naju Innovation City and want more than just cutlet alone, ordering different dishes together like jjolmyeon and kimchi nabe is a good move. And if you're visiting with a kid, this restaurant lets you enjoy the crispy wang donkkaseu that kids love, the tangy-spicy jjolmyeon that adults love, and the spicy, moist kimchi nabe all in one meal.
