Naju café near Dongshin University: chocolat crunch croffle, Vibe Log

Today's review is for a croffle spot in Daeho-dong, Naju that I really, really love and have visited more than ten times — Vibe Log Coffee! I've been coming here since my school days, and if you're a Daeho-dong resident you can't not know this true croffle gem. Lately they've been rolling out a bunch of new croffle menu items!! Since I'm such a big fan of this café, there was no way I wasn't going to try the new menu, so I went straight over haha.

Vibe Log Coffee Naju Dongshin University Branch is at 87 Daeho-gil, 1st floor, Naju, Jeollanam-do. Hours are 09:00 - 22:00, last order at 21:55. For parking, use the lot behind the shopping building or the free public parking lot right next door.

Here's the café entrance! Every time I walk down this street the croffle smell is so good I can barely resist it lol.

The inside of Vibe Log Coffee is clean and cozy, warm yet cute — a great space! The seats here are comfortable too, so you can properly relax and take your time 👍

It's also one of the few cafés in Daeho-dong with good vibes and a pretty interior, so it's always the first place that comes to mind when I want a nice-atmosphere café ❣️

I've come here so many times with friends to chat, and sometimes even did assignments here, so it's a café full of memories for me 🥰 Totally recommend it if you're looking for a cozy, warm-atmosphere café~

There's a corner with water and syrup ready to go, and the restroom is indoors too! (And it's really well maintained 👍)

Vibe Log Coffee menu: every croffle flavor

At Vibe Log Coffee you can enjoy everything from coffee to ade, lattes, smoothies, tea, yogurt drinks and more, all at really affordable prices!! The coffee is clean and tasty, and the lattes and smoothies are great too, but since I was pairing it with croffles today, I ordered two iced americanos and a decaf Dutch coffee ☺️

Here's Vibe Log Coffee's main item, the 'croffle'!! Plain, Nutella, Lotus, injeolmi (sweet rice cake powder), salted caramel — there are so many flavors that it's always hard to pick which croffle to get lol. Trying them one by one, I've basically had almost every flavor here 😂 They're all delicious, but my personal favorite is the vanilla maple croffle haha. The ice cream is really chewy and delicious ❣️

The newest additions, shown on this poster, are the batobato croffle and the chocolat crunch!! We ordered one chocolat crunch croffle~ The batobato croffle looks great for brunch too, so I'll have to try it for lunch sometime 😋

Besides croffles, they also sell baked goods like egg tarts and madeleines, plus Basque cheesecake! The madeleines come in various flavors and are packaged nicely, so they're great as gifts, and they're moist and delicious 👍 (Personally I think the lemon madeleine is the best haha.) The egg tart is also a recent addition, and it was crispy outside, moist inside — a real winner!

How does the new chocolat crunch croffle taste?

Our order arrived haha. The croffle's visuals look like they're about to fully recharge my sugar levels 😍

The chocolat crunch croffle turned out to be a chocolate bomb — chocolate ice cream on top of the croffle, with chocolate syrup and chocolate chips piled on top of that! It's the kind of croffle that would make chocolate lovers lose it (it's me).

They cut it into nice bite-sized pieces~

The base croffle here has such good quality that even the plain croffle alone is really delicious! The outside is baked super crispy while the inside stays chewy — pure honey-tasting goodness ❣️ Add chocolate syrup and chocolate chips on top and it's an unbeatable combo!

Vibe Log Coffee is also an ice cream gem 💛 The croffle topped with vanilla ice cream already has great ice cream quality, and this chocolate ice cream is excellent too!!

It's chewy and rich in style, and you know that kind of ice cream is always the good stuff 🤤 Thanks to the chocolate chips sprinkled on top, there's an extra crunchy texture that makes it even better 😋 (The owner really knows what's good 👍)

I piled the ice cream onto the croffle and ate it that way haha. So happy right now ☺️

Does decaf Dutch coffee pair well with the chocolate croffle?

Coffee is a must with sweet desserts ⭐️ I usually just get a regular americano, but today I wanted decaf, so I ordered the decaf Dutch coffee!

Maybe because it's Dutch coffee, but the finish was really clean with no bitterness at all, which I loved! The cold coffee paired so well with the croffle ☺️

One croffle per person, or takeout from Vibe Log Coffee

This photo is from an earlier visit — four of us each got our own croffle. Trying different flavors all at once meant nonstop deliciousness with no breaks haha.

Chatting with a friend I hadn't seen in a while over sweet croffles and coffee was so much fun haha. I also often get croffles to go so I can share them at home whenever I'm craving one, and they pack them really nicely here, so I'd highly recommend takeout too for gifts or gatherings 👍
