I went on a trip to Jeonju haha. After walking around the hanok village and hitting up all the food spots, my legs were shaking like crazy,,, I liked that you could do a foot bath while looking out the window at the hanok village scenery, and it felt more like "I'm actually in Jeonju" than just doing a foot bath indoors somewhere generic, so I figured it'd be a nice place to rest during the trip and stopped by haha.

Where is Anma Jogyok Cafe Jeonmang, and what are its hours?

Anma Jogyok Cafe Jeonmang is on the 2nd floor right in the heart of Jeonju Hanok Village. It's on the 2nd floor of the building with the PNB bakery, so it's easy to find!

Head up the stairs and you'll see the door. Even the staircase felt special since the building is done in hanok style.

Lockers for storing coats and bags

Once you're inside, you put your shoes in the shoe cabinet and stash your coat or bag in a locker, so you can settle in comfortably — even if you're carrying a lot of stuff, you should be fine visiting.

Apparently this café was even on the show Six Sense, and each seat is labeled with who sat there lol. The seat we got assigned was the Ko Kyung-pyo and Song Eun-i zone 🥰

Which foot bath powder can you choose?

Before the foot bath, you get to choose a foot bath powder. Peppermint is for reducing leg swelling, lavender is for calming the mind and easing insomnia, and rosemary is for stress relief. Being able to pick based on the effect was an extra nice touch haha.

Choosing between peppermint, lavender, rosemary, and rose foot bath powders

I picked the rose foot bath powder!! Peppermint has a strong refreshing feel, and lavender has a subtle, relaxing scent, so it's nice to enjoy the aroma along with the soak. Rose has a soft, gentle scent that I think women especially would love 💗 They mix it into the water for you and explain how to do the foot bath along with the drink options. Towels are provided!

Free drinks, including persimmon leaf mint tea

A simple drink is provided free with the foot bath — options range from Americano to iced tea, mosi leaf tea, persimmon leaf mint tea, and burdock tea, and I had the persimmon leaf mint tea chilled since it's good for a sore throat. The menu even notes what each tea is good for, which was a really thoughtful touch.

They also give you a blanket, and soaking in the warm water made me so cozy and sleepy~ all the fatigue from walking around all day just melted away haha.

Shoulder massager and foot cream included

Once you sit down, you can also use the massager set up there — I actually have one at home, but using it together with the foot bath made it twice as good. Loosening up my shoulders and neck while my soles got massaged and I soaked my feet, all the tension in my whole body just ~~👍 melted away, so if you've been walking and sightseeing a lot around Jeonju Hanok Village, I really recommend stopping by to shake off the day's exhaustion!

Foot cream applied after the foot bath

After the foot bath there's foot cream, so you can put some on and tidy up before heading out haha. There's a hand-washing spot right next to it if you get cream on your hands — just so you know!!

Why an evening visit to Anma Jogyok Cafe Jeonmang works best

If your legs get tired and sore from all the walking around Jeonju Hanok Village, come heal up at Anma Jogyok Cafe Jeonmang and spend some time taking in the night view!! Especially if you visit in the evening, you can take in the whole pretty scenery of the hanok village at once, so I'd definitely recommend going at night 🥰
