Men's down perm at Bailey Hair Label, a Jeonju Hyoja-dong hair salon

Today I visited Bailey Hair Label, a hair salon in Jeonju's new town area that I'd heard pays close attention to men's hair — and got a men's down perm and cut done!! I finally found a men's hair salon in Jeonju that's really thorough haha. Let me show you the shop from the outside all the way to the after-look.

Bailey Hair Label Jeonju Hyoja is located at Hyoja-dong 2-ga 1156-8, Wansan-gu, Jeonju-si, Jeonbuk, and is open daily from 10:00 to 20:00. Parking is available right in front of the shop, and they also provide a parking coupon for a nearby public lot.

This is the exterior of Bailey Hair Label Hyoja. The big sign caught my eye right away and it was easy to find, and the full glass front gave it a clean look.

Inside Bailey Hair Label: atmosphere and welcome drink

Walking into the salon, it was spacious with high ceilings, which gave it a really open feel~! I had booked ahead through Naver Reservation, so I could sit down right away. I'd definitely recommend making a reservation~

They welcomed me in and offered me a choice of welcome drink, so I ordered an iced Americano.

Soon after, they brought out the coffee along with cookies. I was hungry, so it was great to eat and drink during the waiting time between treatment steps haha.

Hair condition before the cut and down perm

I always keep my hair short in summer and then start growing it out again from fall!

So by now my hairline was messy and the length was all uneven, and I wanted to get it cleaned up properly, so today I decided to go with a men's cut and down perm.

How the men's cut and down perm were done

First they did the cut, and the touch during cutting was really careful and thorough. They did exactly what I asked, which I was happy with! This is a photo of the down perm solution being applied after the cut!

I was styled by designer Donghun! Not just the cut but the down perm too was done with such delicate care that I was reeeally satisfied the whole time!!

After carefully examining my head shape, the designer did the down perm tailored to fit it. They made sure the sides were tidied up neatly too. To think I only now found a hair salon in Jeonju's new town this good at doing men's hair..

I definitely intend to come back.

Before neutralizing, they applied a product to balance the PH level! Getting this kind of careful, attentive care was really satisfying~!

The down perm pressed down the sides and crown, and the overall texture and line got so much lighter and cleaner haha.
