Today I went with family to a place we've already visited again and again — a real regular spot! It's Sin Jjukkumi Duam Branch, an all-you-can-eat buffet in Duam-dong, Buk-gu, where you can enjoy jjukkumi (spicy stir-fried octopus) together with grilled pork belly!
I've been here so many times with my partner, but I thought my mom and older brother would love it too, so here's our family visit!

Sin Jjukkumi Duam Branch hours and how long is the wait?
Sin Jjukkumi Duam Branch is open Tuesday to Sunday, 16:00–23:00, closed every Monday.

We went early so there was no wait, but during peak hours there can be a line — just put your name down and wait. So I'd recommend going early!
Takeout and delivery are also available, so it's perfect for enjoying comfortably at home too.

Why Sin Jjukkumi suits group dinners in Duam-dong
There's plenty of seating, so it's great for reserving ahead for group gatherings or work dinners in Duam-dong! The interior itself is really clean, which makes it feel even more trustworthy.

They even have aprons ready!
What a family of three ordered and what it cost
We ordered the jjukkumi + fresh pork belly + shaved pork belly set for 23,500 won, for three people, and drinks were 2,000 won.

Drinks and alcohol are self-serve! Soju and beer are unlimited for just 10,000 won per person — such great value!! It's really perfect for group dinners and gatherings too~

How the self-serve bar works at Sin Jjukkumi Duam Branch
Kitchen towels, napkins, cups, and utensils are already set at the table! You just go use the self-serve bar right away.
The bowl on the upper left holds jjukkumi, and below there are small plates, dishes, and a vegetable bowl! In the photo on the right, the square dish is for scooping up the fresh pork belly!
Fresh pork belly, jjukkumi, and shaved pork belly are all ready to go~
Pickled radish, scallion salad, bean sprouts, vegetables, onion, corn salad, garlic, ssamjang, boiled eggs, even mayonnaise! So well organized~!
A whole spread, neatly ready~! Being able to enjoy it all-you-can-eat is just so great!

Pork belly smell and jjukkumi size: how were they?
You can grill the shaved pork belly too, so you get to enjoy it however you like~ I was worried the meat might not be great since it's all-you-can-eat, but it had no gamey smell at all and was so delicious~

I put shaved pork belly with the jjukkumi and enjoyed it as jjuksam (jjukkumi + samgyeopsal) to the fullest! The jjukkumi itself was so big and chunky, which I loved! Big enough that you have to cut it with scissors~
Let's dig in!!

We enjoyed it various ways, wrapped in lettuce, with scallion salad — it was so well done. Seriously so delicious ㅠㅠ

The boiled egg and jjukkumi-pork combo you have to try
The boiled eggs at Sin Jjukkumi Duam Branch's self-serve bar must be eaten with the seasoned jjuksam. I cut the boiled egg neatly, mixed it with the sauce, and enjoyed it fully! It's seriously so delicious~! An absolute must-try combo!

It's also delicious eating this egg together with a lettuce wrap!

Putting the jjuksam on top of the boiled egg is honey-sweet perfection! They go so well together~!
So happy~! Pure honey flavor!

Ending the meal with flying fish roe fried rice
Finally, we finished up neatly with flying fish roe fried rice!

Even the finishing fried rice was so well made~! Crunchy bean sprouts, kimchi, and popping flying fish roe together — it can't not be delicious! This combo is a must, so pace yourself with your stomach!! If you skip it, you'll think about it once you get home ㅠㅠ
Would we return to Sin Jjukkumi for another family dinner?
Being able to enjoy pork belly and jjuksam together, all-you-can-eat, menus everyone loves, was really the biggest strength! Running on a self-serve bar meant no awkwardness with staff, so we could enjoy it fully. With so many great flavor combos, it's perfect for people of all ages to enjoy happily~!
