I recently found Jin 1926 Dasan Branch while searching for lamb restaurants in Dasan. I was looking for a Dasan restaurant I could visit with my baby, and honestly I was a little worried at first about whether a baby could eat lamb at all. But once I visited, my baby ate the lamb really well, and with a baby chair, utensils, and tableware all ready, the meal turned out to be way more comfortable than I expected.
Where is Jin 1926 Dasan Branch, and what does it look like?

Jin 1926 Dasan Branch is on the 2nd floor of Shinhae Central Tower 4 on Dasan-jungang-ro. I found it while searching for good Dasan restaurants, checked the location, and headed over.

When you're moving around with a baby, choosing a restaurant is about more than just the food — whether you can eat comfortably matters too. This time, that part was satisfying as well.
Inside Jin 1926 Dasan Branch: seating and a table set up for reservations

The interior of Jin 1926 Dasan Branch is really clean and I liked it a lot.
There's also a bar table, so you could sit alongside it and enjoy watching the meat being grilled.
There's group seating too, which seemed suitable for work dinners or family outings.
Since we reserved ahead, our table was already set up when we arrived, which was really convenient. The baby chair was set up too, which I appreciated.
Parking at Jin 1926 Dasan Branch and the Naver review event
Parking is available in the building's basement, and they give you 2 hours free. We ate for a little over an hour and walked around nearby for about 30 minutes, so the timing worked out perfectly.
They're also running a Naver receipt review event. You get a whole serving of lamb ribs as a free gift — wouldn't it be a shame not to do it?
Baby chair and Mickey Mouse baby tableware for young children
Inside Jin 1926 Dasan Branch, a baby chair was available for use. What stood out even more was that baby utensils and tableware were also prepared — having that ready made a bigger difference than I expected. The baby tableware was Mickey Mouse themed too, so my baby loved it, which made me happy in turn.
Side dishes at Jin 1926, including stir-fried mung bean sprouts

Before the food arrived, the basic side dishes came out. Mustard leaf kimchi, baek kimchi (white kimchi), dried radish, and peppers all paired well with the meat.

This stir-fried mung bean sprouts dish in particular was the kicker. It went sooo well with the meat. Honestly, I could finish a whole bowl of rice with just this.
The sauces were special soy sauce, wasabi, and salt — the basics done best.
Oil screen and staff grilling at your table
Another special touch was a divider set up at the grilling area to prevent oil from splattering. This was truly~~~~ the highlight for me. It really shows how considerate the owner is of the customers.
And there's tableside grilling service, so you can just sit comfortably and eat as it's served to you — genuinely so convenient. I used to avoid tabletop grill restaurants because of the baby, but at Jin 1926 we could eat comfortably with the baby, which was really, really nice.

French rack and lamb loin, cooked through for the baby
Here's the French rack and lamb loin we ordered. They came out as 2 and 3 pieces respectively. The quality of the meat looked so good it got me even more excited.

It was great having the staff grill everything for us themselves. Watching the meat cook right next to us was really fun too.

Once the meat finished cooking, they served it to us like this — the portion for the baby was grilled through with no pink left, while ours was cooked to a lovely medium and medium-rare.

Both the French rack and lamb loin were incomparably tender, and there wasn't a trace of that gamey lamb smell, so it was really delicious. I tried it with the wasabi-and-salt combo, on top of the mustard leaf kimchi, and on top of the mung bean sprouts. Eating it different ways made it feel even tastier.

Grilled vegetables and a whole king oyster mushroom
The grilled vegetables that came alongside the meat were delicious too. My baby loves tomatoes and finished them all.
I mostly went for the green onions and garlic, and honestly, could vegetables really be this good? They were so delicious I really felt like there must be a god of grilling.

This king oyster mushroom in particular was the best — grilled whole, it had a juicy, meat-like texture.

After finishing everything we ordered, we added an extra serving of lamb ribs. It was so good that we just kept wanting more.
Sides at Jin 1926: Jin special rice and bibim guksu

The Jin special rice we ordered as a side came topped with a generous amount of pollack roe — the look of it was amazing. It came with seaweed too, so wrapping it up made it even tastier.

Putting rice on the seaweed, adding the standout mung bean sprouts, and topping it off with a spicy pepper made for a really delicious bite. It went so well with the meat.

My husband raved about the bibim guksu (spicy mixed noodles). It was full of seasoning, tangy and sweet, and paired so well with the meat. I'd say it was tastier than some famous noodle places out there. Even the side dishes at Jin 1926 are delicious, which makes me curious about their other sides too.
The crisp-grilled rib bone the staff shaped into a handle

The final highlight was the crispy grilled rib bones. Picking off the meat stuck to the ribs is a treat on its own, and they'd made handles out of the bones, which was really convenient.

Since you can eat it without getting your hands messy, it was easy to give to the baby too, and my baby happily gnawed away since it tasted so good.

This is a bonus serving of tomatoes the owner gave us extra, since the baby liked tomatoes so much. They doted on the baby and took such good care of us, which I really appreciated. Honestly, some restaurants make you feel self-conscious about bringing a baby, but at Jin 1926 I never felt that way at all — if anything, they went out of their way to take care of us, which was touching. The meat was delicious, the side dishes were delicious, everyone was kind, and there wasn't a single thing missing. I highly recommend Jin 1926, this Dasan lamb restaurant, as a top spot for lamb.
