Woo samgyeop 3+1 and ₩3,000 soju at Chadolpung, a Namyangju BBQ

Before heading to Dasan King Jjimjilbang, I stopped by Chadolpung Dasan Station Branch, a Namyangju restaurant known for beef brisket and woo samgyeop! They're running a 6th anniversary customer appreciation event, so soju and beer are only ₩3,000 and woo samgyeop is on a 3+1 deal — the value is insane, making it perfect for a Dasan Station company dinner.

Where is Chadolpung Dasan Station Branch, and what are the hours?

Chadolpung Dasan Station Branch is located at 22-74 Dasan-jungang-ro123beon-gil, Namyangju-si, Gyeonggi-do, 1st floor, open Sunday–Thursday from 11 AM to 11 PM and Friday–Saturday from 11 AM to 1 AM. This Namyangju Dasan restaurant opens for lunch too, with a lunch special under ₩10,000!! Such a kind-priced place in this era of high inflation. On Fridays and Saturdays it stays open until 1 AM, so it's great for good meat and drinks late into the night.

Outdoor tables and MH Tower parking at Chadolpung

In this cool autumn weather, there are outdoor tables that give an open-air pojangmacha vibe! For parking, MH Tower parking lot offers parking support, and if you eat before or after visiting Dasan King Jjimjilbang, your parking time adds up so you can park for free — even better, haha.

What the inside of Chadolpung looks like

Here's a look at the interior of Chadolpung Dasan Station Branch — it felt clean and neat, and since the weather was nice they had the doors wide open, which made the vibe even better haha. Plenty of tables too!

The restroom is located outside with its own password, and free Wi-Fi is available! Besides chadolbagi and woo samgyeop, they also sell assorted gopchang (grilled beef intestines) — a perfect drinking snack haha.

Chadolpung menu and prices: brisket ₩7,900

At Chadolpung Dasan Station Branch, chadolbagi is ₩7,900, and woo samgyeop is currently on a 3+1 deal for the 6th anniversary event. Ordering is easy through the tablet PC at every table!

You can also enjoy set menus like the chadol han-pan set and the hanwoo gopchang hanwoo set.

There's also a good variety of meal menu items. They had several kinds of doenjang jjigae, and while there was no naengmyeon, you could go for kimchi-mari guksu (cold noodles in kimchi broth) or bibim guksu (spicy mixed noodles) instead.

Chadolbagi is already a kind ₩7,900, but woo samgyeop was even on the 3+1 event, so that's what I went with haha.

How did the woo samgyeop 3+1 deal taste?

As soon as you sit down at Chadolpung Dasan Station Branch, they set the side dishes right away haha. We got green onion shreds, seasoned bean sprouts, pickled onions, napa cabbage kimchi, pickled radish, salt, and a meat dipping sauce — all great with the meat.

Then the woo samgyeop arrived!! Since it's part of the 3+1 event, the portion was really generous, sliced into cute little rounds haha.

The meat clearly looks super fresh, doesn't it haha. No gamey smell at all, just savory and delicious.

Since it's woo samgyeop, it's sliced thin, so once it hits the grill it cooks right away and you can grill and eat it in a flash haha.

Nicely grilled woo samgyeop tastes even better dipped in the house sauce!

Wrapping it up with green onion shreds is also absolutely delicious!!

It's also great with the seasoned bean sprouts haha. Woo samgyeop is on the fattier side, so pairing it with green onion shreds and bean sprouts cuts the richness, letting you eat a lot more.

Finishing the meal with chadol doenjang jjigae

For dessert, we ordered chadol doenjang jjigae!! It comes with a bowl of rice, so the value is amazing haha. Maybe because it's simmered with woo samgyeop, the broth had deep flavor and a delicious saltiness — I really enjoyed it!!
