QooQoo Chuncheon Branch is a sushi buffet on the basement floor of a building at 80 Jiseok-ro, Chuncheon-si, Gangwon. It's open daily from 11:30 to 21:30, and you get 3 hours of free parking in the B2–B5 garage. There are gender-separated restrooms inside the building, plus a kids' facility (play room) and birthday perks.

Today was a little Chuncheon outing~!! 🥰 I came to Chuncheon for a birthday trip hehe lol. I wandered around all over, but on the first day, before going anywhere else, I hit QooQoo! It's a 6-minute drive from Namchuncheon Station, and they give you 3 hours of free parking, which was such a plus. It's been a while since I went, so let me review it ><

QooQoo is on the basement floor of the building. There's a wedding hall upstairs too, so that was packed. I thought the basement would be quieter since it's underground.. but it was totally full inside..🔥 I went right at opening, between 11:30 and 12:00, and man, there were seriously so many people!! This place is hot..!

There's a waiting area outside too. Looks like a good spot to wait if there's a line!

Full from opening time: what the seating is like

The restaurant looked like this! Seriously packed..! Almost full even at opening. And since they give a military discount, there were tons of soldiers too! Wow😚

We sat in a somewhat private area off to the side. The little sofa seats nearby were good for 2–4 people! The left side is exactly the spot for family gatherings lol — you push several tables together and eat.

Now that we sat down, time to get up and check out the sushi buffet! I love sushi ><💕

There were so many sushi options — my favorites, raw shrimp, soy-marinated shrimp, flounder, and salmon. So I was happy lol. I think I ate about 4 plates. Hehe🍣

The salmon sashimi was delicious too, and there were octopus and all kinds of seafood! Great that there were so many sauces too lol

BBQ, rolls and futomaki, and the sweet-salty dishes

Wow, this BBQ caught my eye visually!!!🍖 It was tasty too? Total eye-catcher lol

Colorful, eye-grabbing rolls and futomaki! They were almost too pretty to pop in one bite.

Butter shrimp, sweet and sour pork — so many really sweet-and-salty dishes.. my eyes were spinning!! Makes sense that this is where soldiers with big appetites come. I get it!

En croute soup, smoked chicken and yukhoe (raw beef)

My current favorite dish, en croute soup! You crack open the freshly baked, golden, crispy pastry crust and dip it into the warm soup underneath... seriously an explosion of nuttiness!👍🏻 And the smoked chicken, wow~~ the meat inside was chewy and juicy, so addictive lol. And do I even need to mention my beloved yukhoe (Korean-style beef tartare)! Everything was so good lol

Perilla oil makguksu and the rest of the menu lineup

I took way too many photos.. so I condensed it! Whew. Meats, bread, marshmallows, hot dogs, fries, pancake pizza, geotjeori (fresh kimchi), salad, fried rice, and even perilla oil buckwheat noodles (deulgireum makguksu)! They had all the trending dishes and buffet favorites! That's QooQoo class for you.. wow👏🏻👏🏻

Ox knee bone soup, pizza, even a chocolate fountain lol. It was so varied.. I just kept eating lol

Fruit, desserts and marble ice cream

There was a lot of fruit too. As someone living alone.. when I go out, I end up craving fruit lol. I picked out refreshing pineapple, orange, kiwi. Hehe🍎

There's also ice cream, tea, drinks, and more! There was even a slushie, so I finished off sweetly ><

Ah, QooQoo is famous for its ice cream too! So many kinds it was hard to choose lol. I ate a whole bowl of marble ice cream, hehe🍧

I also grabbed some buckwheat noodles, and miso soup, which is a must with sushi, and ate it all up neatly!

My fruit plate, heh.. everything was delicious! The fruit was all in great condition, so fresh!🍊 And of course finished with ice cream-!

Who is QooQoo Chuncheon Branch best for?

Being a 6-minute drive from Namchuncheon Station with 3 hours of free parking made accessibility perfect from the start. Once I visited, I totally understood why the place is packed to capacity right at opening! On top of fresh sushi and sashimi as the basics, the range and quality of everything from my favorite en croute soup to perilla oil buckwheat noodles, BBQ, fruit, and marble ice cream was seriously amazing😆

The restaurant is spacious with well set-up private seating and even a play room, so I'd highly recommend it as a spot for family gatherings or dates! If you're looking for a satisfying, can't-go-wrong meal in Chuncheon, definitely check out QooQoo Chuncheon Branch🌿
