QooQoo Chuncheon Branch time-slot pricing guide

Prices are set by time slot and age group, starting from the cheapest weekday lunch at ₩24,900 up to ₩32,900 for weekend/holidays ✔️ There's also an 'autumn discount party' running right now, taking ₩2,000 off per person on weekdays ❤️

Also, on the day I visited, there was a Toss Face Pay payment event giving an extra ₩5,000 off per person, so I could enjoy weekday lunch for as low as ₩17,900 per person haha (note: with Face Pay you have to split payment by person!)

I went for weekday dinner with 3 people, ₩83,700 total (with the ₩2,000 per-person autumn discount party applied).

Inside and outside QooQoo Chuncheon Branch: seating 🛋

QooQoo Chuncheon Branch is located on basement level 1 of the CGV building in Toegye-dong ✔️ Unlike what you'd guess from the outside, inside there were really a lot of customers enjoying QooQoo Chuncheon ❤️

Besides the wide main hall, there are separated seating areas further in, and even more space I didn't get to photograph — it's that big. There's also a playroom set up in one corner of the store, making it a great spot to bring kids, perfect for a family gathering buffet in Chuncheon 👍

What's on the buffet line at QooQoo Chuncheon Branch 😋

Seafood corner with mulhoe and seasoned shrimp
Buffet display of sashimi and seafood

Sushi and sashimi are arranged in an L-shape along the edge, and even a rough count gives at least 50 different kinds of sushi 🍣 In between there's a good variety of seafood too — thin-sliced raw fish, mulhoe (cold raw fish soup), seasoned shrimp, and marinated crab 👍 The food looks a bit sparse in the photos, but with so many customers, turnover felt really quick ✔️

The Korean food section has gomtang (ox bone soup) and pumpkin porridge, nice for settling your stomach 🇰🇷

Next is the hot food — from meats like pork ribs, braised pork trotter with sauce, sausages, lamb chops, kebabs, and boiled pork, to yakisoba, fried rice, sautéed vegetables, pasta... there's a really huge amount of hot food ❤️ I didn't get photos, but there were also snack-style menu items like fried chicken, fried shrimp, and takoyaki 🍤

When I visited there were two items, sweet potato and corn pancake pizza — seems like it changes every time you go ✔️ (didn't see this menu on my last visit)

The cold section mainly has salad, olives, imitation crab, and raw beef, plus yogurt — light foods that are easy to eat 🥛 The raw beef was especially popular 🔥

There's really-really a lot of dessert too — 8 flavors of ice cream, 4 kinds of marble ice cream, waffles and soft serve, various fruits, cakes, and puddings on display 🍇 🍈 🍉 🍌 🍎 🍓

Lastly, drinks include slushies, juices and sikhye (sweet rice punch), a soda dispenser, coffee, and even patbingsu (shaved ice dessert) 🧊 ☕️

Since it's in Chuncheon rather than Seoul, I didn't expect much, but the menu was more varied than I thought 👍 There's a reason it's known as an all-you-can-eat spot in Chuncheon. There was too much variety to try everything, but I've reviewed honestly below the dishes I did try ⬇️

How the food tasted ✏️

First plate with lamb chops, boiled pork, and vegetables

I first walked around checking out the food, started with QooQoo's famous en croute soup and smoked salmon sashimi to whet my appetite, then moved on to lamb chops, vegetables, and boiled pork that looked good 🌿 The lamb chops and boiled pork were warm and had no off smell, which I liked, and the slight richness was balanced out nicely by asparagus and broccoli so it never felt too heavy 🥦

Smoked salmon sashimi with soy sauce

The smoked salmon and soy sauce were particularly memorable — the soft salmon itself had a nice sweetish flavor, but the soy sauce really brought out its taste even more ❤️ I don't know what kind of soy sauce they use, but it made for quite a memorable start haha

QooQoo's en croute soup

QooQoo's famous en croute soup runs out fast as soon as it comes out 😢 There's the downside of having to play it by timing, but if you catch it fresh, you get to taste it right when it's made ❤️

Second plate with sushi, gunkan rolls, pork ribs, and pork trotter

From the second plate onward I went all in and brought back sushi, gunkan rolls, pork ribs, and pork trotter 🍣 Overall the quality was solid, but personally I enjoyed the taco wasabi gunkan and salmon sushi the most 🌟 My friend who came with me said the pork trotter was the best.

Third plate with raw beef, takoyaki, pizza, and yakisoba

For the third round I loaded up on the salmon and taco wasabi gunkan I enjoyed, plus raw beef, takoyaki, pizza, and yakisoba 🍕 The raw beef was seasoned on the saltier side, and personally the yakisoba and pizza were warm and tasted great 👍

Rambutan, dragon fruit and other fruits with blueberry yogurt

Finally, I finished up with fruits like rambutan, dragon fruit, pineapple, grapefruit, orange, and kiwi, along with yogurt topped with blueberry jam ❤️ I loved how varied the dessert selection was 😍

What I liked about QooQoo Chuncheon Branch 😃

There's such a wide variety of food. From over 50 kinds of sushi to various meats, sashimi, meal dishes, Korean food, and finishing off with ice cream, fruit, and cake! With so many options, it's a great place for all ages to visit. There's a reason it's known as a great spot for a family gathering buffet in Chuncheon ❤️ (and with so many customers, the fast food turnover is a bonus!)

The store is spacious and comfortable. There are plenty of seats, but the spacing between them isn't tight, so I could focus on conversation with my group 👍

There are discount events, so it's affordable. When I visited, I was able to stack the autumn discount event with the Toss Face Pay payment discount, which made it feel like a genuinely great-value all-you-can-eat buffet in Chuncheon 💰
