In short
QooQoo Chuncheon Branch is a sushi and seafood all-you-can-eat buffet on the basement level at 80 Jiseok-ro in Toegye-dong, Chuncheon. Arriving around noon for a family gathering, the writer ate butter-grilled garlic shrimp, white whelk, three bowls of steamed clams and a fat-trimmed chicken barbecue kebab, then stopped by Boulangerie, an organic-flour bakery, for a Valrhona brownie and milk shiromochi. Weekday lunch runs 24,900 won, a price a family with very different tastes could all agree on.

Butter-grilled garlic shrimp, white whelk and three bowls of steamed clams
I'd been wanting butter-grilled garlic shrimp, and QooQoo Chuncheon Branch nailed it — whoa, since when do I talk like this??^^
Whelk (백골뱅이) at QooQoo Chuncheon Branch — wait, is that even possible?? Apparently the menu varies a bit by branch and by season.
I had three bowls of steamed clams. Add pasta and it's vongole; I added rice noodles instead haha.
Fat-trimmed chicken barbecue — kebab, eaten last. Maybe because it had been a while, but it was so good.. total surprise. The spread here is genuinely varied and generous, so everyone can eat to their own taste, which makes it great for family gatherings. Especially good when someone in the group is picky, hahahaha — that's me 🤭
There are various event discounts running. Might as well use one..^^

After lunch: Boulangerie, an organic bakery in Chuncheon
Is heading to a dessert spot after a good meal a law of nature or not haha.

A Wayne Thiebaud piece. Running into it at Boulangerie Chuncheon was such a nice surprise. There's an exhibition starting this Saturday at Dongdaemun Design Plaza. I really want to go see it soon.. ♡
Fudgy Valrhona brownie, like raw chocolate — spread it on a baguette. Total win 🤭

Fudgy Valrhona chocolate mousse with soft milk cream — this must be what heaven tastes like. ONLY available in-store!! No takeout.
The signature chocolate mousse looked amazing but seemed like peak sweetness. I passed ㅜㅜ

A self-serve bar for whatever else you need.. well managed.
The soft, jiggly milk shiromochi tastes even better after being packed up and chilled in the fridge.
With so many desserts I wanted to try, I picked a bit of everything. In the end I comforted myself by choosing the bakery items, figuring they're at least the healthier option haha.

Salt bread and baguettes made with Maxson organic flour
I asked them to pack up the leftovers and they packed it all so neatly and prettily. Everything's just so good ㅜㅜ. I'll probably buy the not-too-sweet salt bread and baguette every time I come. Oh, and the Valrhona brownie too haha.
I also grabbed extra bread as a gift for a friend and packed it carefully. Knowing they use Maxson organic flour puts my mind at ease. There's a genuinely great bakery in Hapjeong that also uses Maxson organic flour, and I always end up seeking it out too, hahahaha.

I skipped the runner-up croissant. The croissant is probably genuinely great, but.. I'm calling it quits for now haha.

There's a huge variety of bread, but I admit I photographed it all out of pure personal indulgence. Go as early as possible — right after lunch hour, tables fill up fast in small groups.
Under an autumn sky, there are so many places I want to go and so many things I want to do, hahahaha.
