Gankeun Galbi Seongseo Branch is an all-you-can-eat pork rib and pork belly restaurant in Ieokdong, Dalseo, Daegu. The writer paid 21,900 won per person for unlimited pork rib and pork belly, refilled pork belly three times and ribs four times, switched to a wire grill pan, and worked through a self-serve bar stocked with jjapaghetti, jin ramyeon, tteokbokki, chicken and milk-based patbingsu (red bean shaved ice). No gamey smell on the meat, three bottles of soju gone, and a revisit rate of 200%.

Donggok Jemyeon is a self-noodle-made kalguksu (knife-cut noodle soup) Korean restaurant in central Dongseong-ro, Jung-gu, Daegu. Arriving just before 6:30 pm, we took the last free seat and ordered the signature Dongyi Han-sang Set at 36,900 won, swapping the doenjang stew for kimchi jjigae for an extra 1,000 won, and the nuruk-fermented gluten-free tangsuyuk (sweet-and-sour pork) and jeyuk bokkeum (spicy stir-fried pork) stood out most. Of all the places to eat at Samsung Changjo Campus, Cafe Dongyi Chimsan Branch is our number one, and we would go back without hesitation.
