Gangneung ocean-view café for jujube tea: Baegya Coffee

Baegya Coffee is a large ocean-view café near Anmok Beach in Gangneung, Gangwon. On a chilly day, I had rich jujube tea, misutgaru, a chocolate baguette, and squid-ink cheese bread by the third-floor windows, then packed up the generous leftovers myself. Baegya Coffee is an easy place to enjoy warm drinks, bread, and the sea.

Jeongseong Katsu Chuncheon Hyoja Branch is a tonkatsu restaurant in Chuncheon, Gangwon, about a 3-minute walk from the back gate of Kangwon National University. My boyfriend and I had kimchi cheese nabe and a buckwheat noodle set for lunch, and the spicy kimchi broth and icy buckwheat broth were an especially good match. Verdict: Jeongseong Katsu is a satisfying, generously portioned lunch choice.
