Naneun Jigeum Saengseoni Meokgo Sipda Yongdam Airport Branch is a Korean restaurant in Yongdam, Jeju, where you can eat mixed grilled fish together with a stew. We ordered the Keun-adeul (Eldest Son) set for 2 and had a filling spread of mackerel, cutlassfish, flounder and yellow croaker with a spicy sundubu (soft tofu) stew. A solid choice when you want a generous grilled fish table close to Jeju Airport.

I packed sashimi, futomaki and coconut fried shrimp, eating the fried shrimp at a nearby park before saving the chilled seafood for a late-night snack at our accommodation. Verdict: a nice low-pressure way to enjoy several Jeju dishes on a trip.

I rode a scooter there and had the 48,000 won Honryesang Set with abalone stone-pot soup, sea urchin seaweed soup, abalone rice, and butter-grilled abalone. Hyeopjae On Ttukbaegi is a Korean restaurant near Hyeopjae Beach in Hallim, Jeju, serving bomal haejangguk (sea snail hangover soup) and other soup dishes. The bomal haejangguk had a clean, slightly spicy broth, the abalone dried-pollack soup was refreshing, and the kids' haejangguk went down easily with the children. Hyeopjae On Ttukbaegi was a good stop for a hot, filling meal with kids.

With one-on-one instructor care, I fed fish, visited a dol hareubang photo spot, showered in warm water, and received a certificate without needing to swim. A satisfying Jeju ocean experience for anyone who hates getting their face wet.

Kkamang Dwaeji Jungmun Branch is a black pork restaurant near the Jungmun Tourist Complex in Seogwipo, Jeju. I added pork neck to the 25,000 won lunch special and enjoyed staff-grilled pork with doenjang-jjigae and bibim-guksu. Verdict: the rice, kimchi, and black pork combination was especially unforgettable!
Nansan-ri Restaurant is a reservation-only course restaurant in Seongsan, Seogwipo, Jeju. We slowly enjoyed a 38,000 won birthday lunch course, a calm setting, dish-by-dish explanations, and non-alcoholic wine pairing. Verdict: a lovely option for an anniversary lunch during a Jeju trip.
