Munak is a silver ring workshop about an eight-minute walk from Yeonsinnae Station in Eunpyeong, Seoul. I joined a wax-carving workshop, shaping, smoothing, and engraving stars and drawings; the process was absorbing, though I had not received the finished ring when I wrote this.
I watched the adult play “Suspicious PT Shop” at Nine Theater in Daehangno, Jongno, Seoul, for a different kind of date. Its unexpectedly high-intensity scenes caught me off guard, but the comic moments and the actors’ close-up expressions made it an entertaining show overall; it may not suit everyone.
Mirinae Magic Theater Magic & Joy Gwanggyo is a small-theater magic show venue on the 10th floor of Galleria Department Store in Suwon, Gyeonggi. I watched flower, ring, balloon, shadow, and table magic with my son, and appreciated the child-friendly interaction, though parking and elevator waits were long.
Fist X Seoul National University Entrance is a group fitness center in Gwanak, Seoul, where I returned to exercise after about a month away. The 60-minute class combined weights and cardio with hands-on form feedback, though it was not as individually focused as one-on-one personal training.
Seongrok Boxing Gym is a boxing gym in Goyang, Gyeonggi, where a friend with prior boxing experience trained. They appreciated the detailed coaching and level-appropriate instruction, along with the spacious training area and facilities.
Saranghao Dalkomhage & Dog Daycare Cafe is an indoor dog café in Pyeongnae-dong, Namyangju, with a café and playroom separated by large windows. I visited with friends and our dogs, played ball in the spacious non-slip playroom, and had toast and misutgaru; the free extra diapers were convenient, though there were no other dogs after work on a weekday.
Hero Board Game Cafe Hongdae Branch 1 is a board game café within walking distance of Hongik University Station in Mapo, Seoul. We used a weekday all-day pass, played several games for two, and had dinner there; learning new rules took time, but it made for a relaxed indoor date with plenty of time.
Figure Museum Jeju (피규어뮤지엄제주) is an indoor attraction in Andeok-myeon, Seogwipo, Jeju, with Marvel, Japanese anime, game, and movie figures. I explored the Iron Man suit display, photo zones, and merchandise shop; there was more to see than expected, though dark areas and glass reflections made photography tricky.

Suspicious PT Shop is an adults-only, 80-minute comedy play at Nine Theater near Hyehwa Station in Jongno, Seoul. I watched it with my boyfriend and laughed throughout, but its sexual content was much stronger than expected, so it felt better suited to adult couples or friends than families.

As a CrossFit beginner, I tried FAT BURN, VOLUME, and weekend TOTAL classes; they were demanding, but the coach’s form guidance and other members’ encouragement helped me keep up.
