Cheonan coffee shop for a hot flat white and 041 coffee: Brewers

Brewers Coffee in Sinbu-dong, Cheonan — I'm hooked on the 041 coffee. It's at 20 Meokgeori 9-gil, Dongnam-gu, Cheonan-si, Chungcheongnam-do, South Korea, open 12:00–21:00, and there's no parking.

Whenever I'm in Sinbu-dong, this is the café I keep coming back to — Brewers Coffee.

Good coffee, good baked goods, pretty interior — honestly there's no reason not to come!

Weekend waits, and where to park near Brewers Coffee

Brewers Coffee Cheonan Sinbu Branch has no parking, so it's easier to park at Shinsegae Department Store and walk over, or take public transit. There's a wait on weekends, so I only come on weekdays — but even on weekdays it's busy.

I'm clearly not the only one who thinks so, since it's always packed haha. Weekends are genuinely crowded with a wait, so I stick to weekdays^^ haha... but even weekdays are busy. Still, there's always a spot for me. It's more comfortable to park at Shinsegae Department Store or come by public transit — the Sinbu-dong public parking lot is pretty tight, so we always park at Shinsegae and walk over haha. You can shop and register your parking, or use a parking coupon~!

We ordered the 041 coffee and a hot flat white. Drink prices aren't bad, though changing beans, switching to oat milk, or adding a shot or syrup each cost ₩1,000, which adds up a bit.

Brewers is also one of Cheonan's go-to spots for baked goods, and the visuals alone tell you they can't be bad. There's a good variety, so it's fun picking. We got an apple Earl Grey financier and a salted choco chip madeleine — trying whatever we hadn't yet. I think I've tried almost everything except the new items haha. But everything's good, so just pick whatever suits your taste.

What is 041 coffee at Brewers Coffee?

Brewers Coffee's two signatures are Brewers Coffee and 041 Coffee. Think of Brewers Coffee as a mocha, while 041 Coffee has walnut cream in it, echoing Cheonan's famous walnut cookies.

I'd avoided the 041 coffee for a while, assuming walnut cream wouldn't be great, but last time I tried it I loved it so much I ordered it again haha.

And every time I come to Brewers, the staff are so friendly that I always leave in a good mood. Atmosphere, taste, and hospitality — this Sinbu-dong café doesn't miss on any front.

Even that day, apart from a table or two, the bar seats and inner seats were basically full haha. Grab a seat first, then order~!

How the hot flat white and 041 coffee tasted

Walking in that day, the air conditioning was blasting so hard I got cold. So I ordered a hot flat white, and the steamed milk that day was perfect — rich and strong, a total pass.

Coffee with nuts in it is usually heavy, but the 041 coffee is clean, which I love. The regular coffee is good too, but Brewers' signature drinks are really the ones to try~!

The apple Earl Grey combo was great, and so was the salted choco chip one. I skipped the Americano this time, but the madeleine and financier weren't overly sweet, which worked well. If you like baked goods and good coffee, Brewers Coffee is the first place that comes to mind in Sinbu-dong — a can't-miss café near the Cheonan terminal~~
