Gwangalli restaurant for salmon cheese rolls and pasta: Salmon Brothers
In short
Salmon Brothers is a Western-style restaurant in Gwangalli, Busan, serving salmon dishes and pasta. We shared a salmon cheese roll, aglio olio, and clam suljjim with extra noodles; the oil pasta and noodle-filled broth are especially memorable. Verdict: Go for the cozy décor and order the aglio olio with extra noodles in the clam broth.

Partly paid for with my own money.

A place for salmon dishes and pasta together in Gwangalli
Salmon Brothers is on the way down from Gwangan Station to Gwangalli Beach. It is in the same building as the Lotto convenience store, and you can have salmon dishes and pasta at the same time :)

A space that totally won me over with bear figurines
The space was decorated with the cutest little things, from the teddy bear that greeted us right as we walked in to Usagi, Kurimanju, and Momonga figurines! And there was even an abs-bearing bear hahaha. Thinking about it now, maybe there are so many bears inside because bears like salmon.

The interior was exactly my taste—such a lovely atmosphere that women would probably enjoy ㅠ There were bar seats, tables for two, and tables for four, and they said private rentals are possible with a phone inquiry, so a group visit would be no problem!

The pre-set tableware at every table, the cute mini lamp, and the white light shining down on the center of the table were all perfect... The atmosphere is just unreal ㅠ With a place this pretty, anyone looking for a date-night restaurant or a good spot for a blind date needs to come here, right? I am the person who got so excited after finding an atmosphere spot exactly to my taste.

This was the area next to the restroom, and it had everything: combs, hair irons, hairspray, blotting paper, cotton swabs, and more hahaha. I did not use them, but having all of this available was such a thoughtful touch.

Water is self-serve, and there was hot water next to the counter too, just so you know :)

We ordered the salmon cheese roll, clam suljjim with extra noodles, aglio olio, and soda.
It is just drinks and pickles, so why do you think I took this photo? The ice on top was shaped like a bear, so I had no choice... Is it not ridiculously cute?

Aglio olio I want to eat again
We were torn between it and sushi, but my companion said they wanted the salmon cheese roll, so we ordered it with aglio olio!

If you like oil pasta, you absolutely have to order this ㅠ Even while writing this, I want to eat it again... 🤎

Twirl it up and eat it with a shrimp, and it is pure deliciousness ㅠ The moment I took a bite of pasta, I thought we needed to add noodles to the clam suljjim hahaha.

The best-selling salmon cheese roll
I wondered whether the salmon cheese roll would be good, but there was a reason it is a best seller.

I am not usually a cream-cheese person, but it was so good this way that I kept eating it.

Add noodles to the clam suljjim
Two dishes did not feel like enough, so we additionally ordered the clam suljjim, which came out already cooked.

It was a little disappointing that some clams had not been fully purged of sand, but the broth was delicious, so I kept sipping it.

I said above that the pasta here is good, right? I felt like we absolutely had to add noodles, so after eating about half of it, we added noodles to the suljjim hahaha.

They said to simmer it for a few minutes before eating, but the flavor had not soaked in, so we cooked it longer than the time they told us. It was even better that way!

There were goods for sale at the counter, and they gave us candy too, which was nice for freshening up our mouths :> If you are looking for a Western-style restaurant in Gwangalli, head to Salmon Brothers for the atmosphere, food, and service all in one 💨
