Where is Terra in Sunae-dong, and do I need a reservation?

I usually enjoy massages and tend to visit different places. This time, I received a one-on-one full-body treatment at Terra (테라), an aromatherapy body care spa in Sunae-dong, Bundang. It is inside an apartment shopping complex, and the orange-toned lighting visible through the glass doors stood out.

Terra operates by reservation only, and a foot bath is included as standard with every program. The hours listed in the original post were 10:30–19:10 from Tuesday through Friday and 10:30–15:10 on Saturday and Sunday; it is regularly closed on Mondays. Free parking was also listed.

What do they check and prepare before treatment?

As soon as I arrived, I filled out a questionnaire. It included detailed questions about skin and body concerns, as well as my preferred massage pressure.

After completing the questionnaire, I changed in the changing room. A hair dryer, comb, and hair ties were available, so I could tidy my hair after the treatment. This was useful to me because I had other plans afterward.

I especially remembered that they had even prepared hair ties. When I used one, it held my hair securely.

At the time of my visit, there was also a notice that a serum would be given for leaving a Naver photo review. It would be worth checking whether the event is running when you visit.

How did the foot bath before the full-body treatment go?

After changing, I moved to the treatment room. The interior colors were coordinated, and the soft lighting made me feel relaxed.

The foot bath lasted about 15 minutes. It used a foot bath machine with EMS treatment, and I found it cool and refreshing. I also drank welcome tea during the foot bath.

After the foot bath, they dried my feet and gently massaged them. Even in the finishing process, I felt their touch was attentive.

What was the order and pressure of the dry full-body treatment?

The program I received was the 90-minute dry Terra Release full-body course. Once I lay on the bed, they first worked on my hip joints and legs, then treated the shoulders and neck that I had said were uncomfortable.

Working on my legs felt refreshing, but the shoulder and neck treatment was a little painful. I usually prefer strong pressure, so I endured it at the time. The work on my back and arms was comfortable enough that I briefly fell asleep.

My left shoulder would sometimes make a sound when I did shoulder-rotation stretches. When I tried rotating it right after the treatment, it did not make that sound. That was the change I noticed after my treatment that day.

The Chinese massages I usually prefer feel like they press firmly across the whole body by hand, whereas Terra felt like it loosened my whole body while working more deeply on key areas. I came away with the impression that they checked my condition point by point as they treated me, and I would like to return.
