The four items we ordered at Something About Coffee

Table spread with citron ade, black sesame cream latte, and desserts

We ordered citron ade, black sesame cream latte, yellow cheese cheesecake, and chestnut pumpkin pass financier~

Green tangerine ade

I was craving something refreshing, so I also ordered the citron ade! The distinctive sweet-and-tart flavor of green citron came through with a fizzy pop, so it was refreshing and clean to drink!

Rather than being just sweet, the ade had a bright citron flavor that left my mouth feeling clean, and it paired well with sweet desserts too! I'd recommend this one on a hot day or when you're looking for something clean and refreshing 💛

Black sesame cream latte

I also ordered the black sesame cream latte, where nutty black sesame meets soft cream! There's a generous layer of soft, sweet cream on top, and underneath the nutty black sesame flavor comes through subtly, and they went well together~

The sweetness of the cream and the nuttiness of the black sesame were well balanced, so it wasn't as heavy as I expected, and drinking it with the coffee brought out the nutty flavor even more ☕️. If you like a latte that's both sweet and nutty, I'd recommend giving this one a try :)

Yellow cheese cheesecake

I also tried the yellow cheese cheesecake, which looked delicious from the start! The typical soft, dense texture of cheesecake was paired with the salty, nutty flavor of yellow cheese, and it was delicious~ It wasn't overly sweet and had a rich cheese flavor, so it went well with coffee, and it seems like it would really suit anyone who likes yellow cheese 🧀

Chestnut-pumpkin bbaseu financier

I also tried the chestnut pumpkin pass financier, which had an unusual name that made me curious! The financier had a nice texture — crispy outside and moist, chewy inside. On top of that, the subtle sweetness and nutty flavor of chestnut pumpkin blended in better than I expected 🎃. It had a sweet yet nutty taste that went well with coffee, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a dessert that's not so common!
