After work yesterday, I went looking for a café in Seongsu and ended up at Highline Seongsu Café, tucked into a quiet alley 🥰 Seongsu has so many cafés and so many people, but Highline is set back in a Seongsu alley, so it was much easier to relax and enjoy some time there 🫶🏻

Highline Seongsu Café: location, opening hours and parking

Highline Seongsu Café is on the 2nd floor of 10 Seongdeokjeong 9-gil, Seongdong-gu, Seoul, about 760m from Exit 2 of Seoul Forest Station on the Suin-Bundang Line. Hours are Mon–Fri 10:30–19:00 and Sat–Sun 10:00–20:00.

Follow the alley of Seongdeokjeong 9-gil and you'll spot Highline Seongsu Café. Being just off Seongsu's usually crowded main street, it felt quiet and comfortable instead :)

Simple yet classy posters were stuck along the stairway, giving off a subtle, hip vibe without trying too hard 👏🏻 You could tell the place was carefully styled even before entering, so the walk up was fun to take in too 😆

Walking into Highline Seongsu Café on the 2nd floor, the overall mood was really simple and clean 🥰 Rather than flashy decor, it had a modern, sleek feel that's exactly my style 👍🏻 The interior was bigger than expected too, with tables spaced out comfortably, so it felt relaxed :)

The full-length mirror was pretty, and the cups displayed on one side were simple but stylish, fun to look at :)

The mini flower vases were all neat and pretty too, catching my eye — every little prop fit the space without being overdone 😆

How does the mugwort crumble latte taste?

I really love mugwort lattes 😍 Maybe because I drank it after work, but the mugwort aroma and sweetness felt even better, and after one cup all the stress from the day just melted away 👍🏻 This mugwort crumble latte had its own kind of specialness compared to the mugwort lattes I've had before, haha. The crumble was crunchy and nutty, so eating it with the latte added great texture :)

Next up, the moment we'd all been waiting for — the chocolate matcha brownie! This was seriously, top-tier delicious 👍🏻 If you're craving something sweet, I really recommend it :)

The rich, fudgy brownie comes topped with matcha ice cream, and personally, this combo was a total masterstroke :) The chocolate and matcha ice cream flavors worked together way better than I expected.

Eating it right after work especially felt like a proper sugar recharge, and it washed away all the stress from the day. I'm sure I'll order this again next time I visit!

Highline Seongsu Café let me feel a calmer, more relaxed vibe compared to Seongsu's bustling main café street 🥰 The space is clean and roomy, so it'd be a good pick if you're looking for a quiet café in Seongsu to chat with someone :)
