With such careful, thorough hands, my dry hair turned silky smooth.

Goun Ilsang Hair Songpa Helio City Branch: location and parking

It is a five-minute walk from Songpa Station Exit 4 and about three minutes from the bus stop, so it is easy to reach by public transit.

Since it is right in front of Helio City, it seemed like a hair salon many apartment residents use.

You can park at the Helio City shopping complex or nearby public parking, and parking fees are supported according to the service. Cuts/down perms receive one hour (₩1,500), regular perms/coloring receive two hours (₩4,500), and heat perms receive three hours (₩5,000).

A calm one-person salon atmosphere for your appointment
There is a waiting area in front of the counter, which makes it handy to set down your bag or belongings briefly when paying.

The interior atmosphere is something I quietly consider important when visiting a Songpa hair salon. At places that are too crowded and hectic, I have found myself rushing through even the consultation for no reason.
Goun Ilsang Hair is run as a one-person salon, so when I visited, it felt much less chaotic overall. At large salons where many stylists and clients are moving around at once, I feel self-conscious, wait ages for my turn, and do not get focused care. Compared with those places, this felt much calmer, which I loved.

More than anything, I could feel the director focusing on my hair throughout the appointment, and that matters a lot to me. If you prefer a salon where one person looks after you carefully rather than staff changing constantly or leaving you waiting, Goun Ilsang Hair would likely suit you well.
If family or companions come along, there is also a table and seating where they can read while waiting instead of getting bored.
And I was happy to see A. Yunché products displayed as soon as I entered! I had been introduced to them and tried them at a salon before, and they definitely worked for me. They are a little pricey, but they seem worth it.

I also liked that the shampoo room is not completely open; it is partly screened by walls, so other people cannot see you getting your hair washed. Good.
Some salons are completely open, and both watching someone else get shampooed and having others watch me feels so embarrassing and uncomfortable. I am the sensitive type who notices these little details when judging a salon..

The treatment process based on my damaged hair condition

My hair after getting a C-curl perm a few months ago.. The waves and damaged texture were too much to handle, so I could not wear it down and spent every day with it tied up or under a hat—those sad days.. Can you see them.. my total-mess, straw-like strands.. (I should come back for color soon too.)

At first, I was thinking of getting volume magic straightening, but after hearing a detailed explanation of the style I originally wanted, the director suggested something else. That method actually sounded better to me, so I said I would follow her recommendation.

Even when I have a style in mind, I think it may be hard to achieve exactly the same result depending on my hair's current condition. Rather than automatically doing precisely what I said, she carefully and kindly considered my current hair and what would suit my face, so I was grateful~

Before the treatment, they filled the hair with protein PPT, which coats the surface and forms a protective barrier, then I waited for a while. I was told it helps create a healthy perm by smoothing damaged cuticles and acting as a finishing layer that adds shine and softness.

She checked the condition carefully throughout, kept my desired direction in mind, and tried to make it fit my current hair as naturally as possible~

Some people are quite bold when straightening hair, and every time I worry that the hot flat iron might touch my ears, which scares me so much ㅠㅠ But the director at Goun Ilsang Hair told me first to let her know if it felt hot. That reassured me, and because she worked slowly and carefully the entire time, I did not feel scared.

Once it was finished, I especially loved that the result naturally reflected the requests I had mentioned at the beginning ><

Swoosh~ My hair was reborn with a silky-smooth texture! Haha, I feel like a new person.

My dry, broom-like hair before the treatment.

After the treatment: “Jang Wonyoung hair.” These days, when something is pleasing, people say “Jang Wonyoung” as the opposite of “bamti,” right? Haha.
Seriously, the best among the Jamsil hair salons I have been to! I am coming back next month when I get my color done.

There is also a 40% discount coupon on Naver Place, plus various benefit events underway!
