Getting gel nails once a month is one of my biggest little healing rituals^^ This time, I visited Byuazeu Hongdae Nail, Lashes & Skincare, a place I’d like to recommend for gel nails in Hongdae! So many people had recommended it as a Hongdae nail salon with great staying power that I had to go—and I personally liked it so much that I’m sharing it with all my heart^^

It was conveniently close to Exit 9 of Hongik University Station^^ Since it is open every day until 9 PM, it is a great Hongdae gel-nail salon for office workers like me to visit comfortably!

A spacious, comfortable white-toned interior

At Byuazeu, you can get lashes and skincare as well as gel nails and pedicures! The space was fairly roomy, and I took photos of the nail and pedicure area. I loved how clean and comfortable the white-toned interior felt^^

I especially loved the drink service! I had rushed over straight after work and was a little thirsty, so it was lovely that they prepared a selection of drinks for me!

I chose an orange ade : ) I enjoyed it gratefully^^ I love this kind of thoughtful service so, so much!

A wide range of gel-nail designs and monthly nail art

Byuazeu in Hongdae had so many gel-nail designs that I could hardly choose, haha.

I chose one of the monthly nail-art options! I could see why this place is known in Hongdae for good-value nails—the prices were truly reasonable! I selected the design at the very bottom, and it was much prettier on my actual nails than in the sample^^

Gel removal and cuticle-care process

Here is my before photo^^; My nails were so long, and my cuticles had grown out so much too...! It really was time, haha. Please watch how these nails transform : )

I had my gel nails done by Hanseul! She is so refreshingly straightforward and cheerful, with incredibly quick yet meticulous hands. In no time at all, she neatly removed the gel and took care of my cuticles, and she did it all without hurting me, which I loved^^

Just receiving this care already made me so happy, but now it was time for Byuazeu’s pretty monthly nail art, haha.

She carefully applied the base coat,

and applied the lovely gel nails! The color was so soft and pretty, like purple grapes! You can change the color, but I kept it as is—and it made me realize that a professional’s pick really is different. Such a satisfying color : )

It became even prettier with the cute nail charms, right?^^

Ta-da! Here is the after photo!! I think it looks much prettier in real life than in the sample!!

It is not fully pink; it is a grape-like color with a purple cast, so I think it would look especially lovely on people with fair skin too^^

The monthly nail art was under ₩50,000, and the value for both money and satisfaction was so good that I was truly pleased!!

Since nails need to be done fairly often, around once a month, the cost can feel burdensome. I would recommend this as a good-value Hongdae nail salon where you can get them done without that pressure^^

My honest review of Haseul’s monthly nail art

I had my nails done by Haseul, and first of all, she really works carefully and makes everything beautiful! She is also such a fun, easygoing person, so chatting with her was enjoyable^^ Byuazeu Hongdae Nail, Lashes & Skincare offers great value and is easy to find near Hongik University Station!! It is known for nails that last well, and I was satisfied enough to want to return^^

They say they also have many international customers, and that says a lot about how good this nail salon is. I recommend paying them a visit!
