Visiting Rimseutu’s Dunsan-dong second branch

Today I visited Rimseutu (림스투), a great spot for eyelash extensions in Dunsan-dong, Daejeon! Rimseutu is known in Daejeon for natural-looking lash extensions, and I heard it had just opened a second branch at Hyangchon World Plaza in Dunsan-dong, so off I went! Haha.

It was on the third floor of Hyangchon World Plaza, immediately to the right after entering Maldives Tanning!

Rimseutu’s first branch is in the Dunsan Family Town shopping arcade, while the second is in Hyangchon World Plaza right in front of Galleria, so it is nice that you can go to whichever is closer! Hahaha. It can be such a hassle to make time for a lash perm, so if you work an office job, using your lunch break is the best trick, you know? Haha.

I happened to have plans at Galleria, so I visited the second branch! There was a waiting area inside, and it was clean and had exactly what it needed.

Why I chose Perm Point LED extensions

Rimseutu also offers plenty of discounts when you book, so the prices were so reasonable! Haha. There are different extension methods, but you know long-lasting LED extensions are all the rage these days!! If you are going to do it, I recommend the longer-lasting LED option, haha.

Before the treatment, we had a consultation to pin down the design I wanted. My lashes are practically nonexistent, so heavy extensions would look really obvious; I asked for natural lashes! That is why we decided on Perm Point LED extensions.

Perm Point LED is an extension method optimized for people who wish they had more lash volume or length, or who want a natural look. Standard extensions simply attach lashes, whereas Perm Point extensions are applied after the natural lashes have been lifted with a perm, making the result more natural and adding a sense of length too, haha.

Because the extensions and perm are done together, they look natural like my own lashes even from the side. Adding lots of lashes can make them look less natural, so I would recommend another type of extension if you want glamorous lashes—but I highly recommend this if natural is your thing!!

A private treatment space and comfortable bed

The treatment area had curtains, so I could use it privately, and the bed was so soft that I was getting sleepy, haha. The temperature was also wonderfully comfortable, so it was a relaxing experience.

My short, straight lashes before treatment

First, my lashes before the treatment... they are gone. Gone. Somehow, after visiting a salon, I consistently apply lash serum for a few days, and then afterward... (...) Anyway, they are sparse, very short, and straight, so a perm has reached its limit for me and extensions have become essential ㅠㅠ...

She started with cleansing right away, hahaha. After taking it off, there were even fewer... yes...

Extension time and the 9mm result

Throughout the treatment, the owner’s hands were seriously fast, hahahahaha. Even lying down, I could feel it... attaching, curing, attaching, curing—so fast and precise that I thought, wow, she is truly a master! Haha.

I have had extensions a few times, and it is usually quite a time-consuming process, you know? But Rimseutu’s owner was incredibly quick; the extensions themselves took less than 30 minutes, which I loved. Haha.

The long-awaited result was completely my vibe... anyone would think these were my own lashes... 🤍🤍🤍🤍 Even with my eyes closed, they look natural like they are mine, with zero awkwardness! Yet my eyes looked defined and fuller even without makeup, and it was so pretty ㅠㅠㅠㅠ

I usually use a mix of 9–11mm lengths, but this time I went with 9mm as the owner recommended, and this length felt perfect for me! Hahahahaha. I am going to stick with 9mm from now on! Haha. I cannot wait to see how much prettier they will look with makeup ✨
