Pork cutlet with sauce on the side near Magok Station: Tteudon

A man's food! I came to Tteudon Magok Branch, a well-known pork cutlet spot in Magok, to eat some donkatsu haha. It's right near Magok Station so it's an easy walk, and underground parking support is available too, which is super convenient.

Inside Tteudon Magok Branch: atmosphere and seating

The Tteudon Magok Branch store was really clean, and there were way more tables than I expected! Beyond what's in the photo, there were quite a lot more tables in the back too haha.

The free unlimited self-bar: soup, bread, tteokbokki and udon broth

One of the great things about Tteudon Magok Branch is that soup, bread, tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes), and udon broth are all free and unlimited refills! Since it's self-serve, there's no awkwardness about refilling — super easy haha.

The tteokbokki color and taste were seriously great lol. Normally I would've eaten several plates, but I happened to have tteokbokki for lunch that same day, so ㅠㅠ I couldn't eat much of it ㅠㅠ.

I'm a soup fiend so I think I refilled it three times lol. It was exactly the kind of tasty soup that's easy to keep eating!

How was the sweet potato cheese pork cutlet?

What we ordered at Tteudon Magok Branch was the sweet potato cheese cutlet and the old-style cutlet! I don't usually like sweet potato that much, but that day the sweet potato cheese cutlet weirdly appealed to me lol. Even with a thick layer of sweet potato mousse on top, it wasn't greasy or heavy — it was really good haha.

The Tteudon Magok Branch sweet potato cheese cutlet had generous, thick portions of sweet potato, cheese, and the cutlet itself, so it was really satisfying to eat haha.

This is the old-style cutlet at Tteudon Magok Branch. The portion was seriously huge!! There's also a vegetable salad you can enjoy alongside the cutlet~~

Another great thing about Tteudon Magok Branch is that when you order, you can choose between sauce-on-top or sauce-on-the-side! Usually when you order at a kiosk you're forced into sauce poured on top, or you have to go up and ask staff directly for the sauce separate ㅠㅠ. At Tteudon Magok Branch there's no such hassle — you can just pick it right at the kiosk when ordering haha.

The Tteudon Magok Branch self-bar also has bread available! Apparently you can make your own pork cutlet burger with it haha. There are instructions on how to make it, so it seems worth trying once haha.

Is Tteudon Magok Branch good with kids? Kids' room and high chairs

Tteudon Magok Branch is really great to visit with kids too! There's a kids' room for children to play in and even baby chairs prepared haha. It's hard for moms to actually eat when the kids are with you, right ㅠㅠ. At Tteudon Magok Branch, while the kids play in the kids' room, you can enjoy your meal at ease!

Dessert: free ice cream in several flavors

After the meal, Tteudon Magok Branch even has free ice cream to cleanse your palate! There are various flavors too, so it's nice to pick and choose haha. I recommend Tteudon Magok, the pork cutlet spot near Magok Station~!
