A bakery two minutes from Yeongdeungpo-gu Office Station

The shop is tucked into a side street just a two-minute walk from Exit 1 of Yeongdeungpo-gu Office Station, where Lines 2 and 5 meet, so getting there by public transport was wonderfully easy. Its modern yet warm wood-louver façade, bright orange logo sign, and sweet little flower decorations make it instantly noticeable even from afar. As I walked around the neighborhood, the gentle scent of freshly baked bread practically led my steps inside.
Fresh-bread times and spacious seating

A standing sign in front of the entrance laid out the baking schedule by day and time in detail. Salt bread comes out at 8 AM, 11 AM, and 2 PM, while baguettes, focaccia, bagels, egg tarts, and even the popular Wakku salt bread all have set baking times, making this a great stop if you want to catch bread while it is warm and fresh from the oven.

Inside, a wide seating area opened up beneath high ceilings and cozy lighting. There were two- and four-person tables, group tables, and even window counter seats for one, making it just right for enjoying bread and coffee alone or meeting up with friends. The self-service station was neatly stocked with chilled lemon water, clear cups, tissues, and more, which kept the whole stay comfortable.
A showcase of around 60 bakery items

The display case was full of appetizing egg tarts in a lovely golden color and freshly baked classic salt breads. The egg tarts had glossy, puffed-up filling over their pastry shells, while the plump salt breads were finished neatly with coarse salt, enough to make my mouth water just looking at them.

Further into the case, the Dubai chocolate salt bread, generously filled with rich chocolate and pistachio kataifi (shredded pastry), caught my eye alongside three types of Wakku salt bread in cute fruit-net packaging: peach yogurt, Chodang corn, and blueberry yogurt. The bagel corner also had olive cheese bagels dotted with savory cheddar and olives, so choosing what to take home was half the fun.
The bakery picks we brought to the table

We chose an egg tart, Dubai chocolate salt bread, fresh blueberry yogurt Wakku salt bread, and an olive cheese bagel. First, when I split the golden salt bread in half, the inside stayed chewy and moist in beautiful layers while the bottom was crisp from buttery richness. The balance of savory salt and nutty butter was perfect, so even the classic salt bread passed with flying colors. The egg tart, filled with sweet, smooth custard cream, also had a crisp, flaky pastry shell and made a perfectly good dessert.
Dubai chocolate salt bread packed with kataifi and pistachio

This was one of the items I had been looking forward to most: the Dubai chocolate salt bread. When I cut it in half, crispy kataifi strands tossed in nutty pistachio spread filled it completely, without a gap. The outside was generously topped with a rich dark-chocolate coating, crunchy chopped pistachios, and coconut flakes. One bite brought together kataifi’s distinctive crisp crunch, buttery salt bread, and sweet chocolate in fantastic harmony. It was a signature item that truly captured one of today’s trendiest flavors.
Tangy-sweet fresh blueberry yogurt Wakku salt bread

The fresh blueberry yogurt Wakku salt bread came carefully wrapped in a purple fruit net, making it feel as though I had been gifted fresh fruit. Once I gently removed the wrapping, soft yogurt cream and fresh, round blueberries were sitting on top of the bread.

When I sliced through it with a knife, the bread was so full of rich blueberry jam, juicy fruit pieces, and refreshing yogurt whipped cream that it looked ready to burst. The sweetness of the white chocolate coating, the saltiness of the bread, and the fruit’s brightness came together as the perfect sweet-salty-tangy combination. It was refreshing without feeling heavy, so I would strongly recommend it as a summer dessert.
An olive cheese bagel good enough for a meal

Finally, the olive cheese bagel was an excellent option to have in place of a meal. Its golden top and interior were generously studded with savory roll cheese and aromatic black olives. Between the bagel’s characteristically dense, chewy texture, the cheese’s nutty flavor and the olives’ rich aroma blended naturally. It was mild but seasoned just right, making it an unbeatable match with a hot Americano. Every bread had its own personality and care behind it, making this a place I would want to return to.
Final thoughts
This bakery café impressed me with the quality of its freshly made daily breads and its stylish dessert lineup. From the Dubai chocolate salt bread packed with crunchy kataifi to the bright Wakku salt bread, chewy bagels, and soft egg tarts, every item was beautifully finished. The space is also roomy and comfortable, so I recommend it for lingering over a relaxed bread break.
