BYWAY BAKERS is a chain bakery café with branches all over Seoul, and the Yeongdeungpo branch was located about 5 minutes from Exit 1 of Yeongdeungpogu Office Station.

It felt like the hottest spot in Yeongdeungpo — there were so many people! The day I visited, there seemed to be especially many people out enjoying themselves. It was a great café to visit in this kind of weather. Even tucked in an alley, it can have a wait on weekends, that's how hot it is haha

At BYWAY BAKERS especially, you can meet freshly baked bread made with fresh ingredients every morning. The desserts are so popular that if you want a specific bakery item or something fresh out of the oven, it's a good idea to time your visit accordingly! The salt bread fresh out of the oven in particular was so good 🥐🥐

From group tables to window seats — a large café's seating

I rushed inside to eat dessert!!! and right away there was group seating. The space was so spacious that it looked great for group use! There were even books, so it looked good for reading or working on a laptop too.

Next to the group seating was this-! Seats for 2 up to 4, and window seats too~ Looks great for a date, doesn't it!!!?? haha

Order at the kiosk, bread on a tray

You can order at the kiosk or order directly!

All the desserts could be packed to go! For the baked bakery items, you just bring whatever you want to eat over on a tray.

New menu wakppu salt bread — they even give you plastic gloves

The visuals are amazing!!! #YeongdeungpoBreadPilgrimage it was truly bread heaven 🥐🥖 The trendy Dubai-style items, butter rice cakes, financiers, madeleines, bagels, salt bread~ I couldn't resist and picked out some dessert too! Everything looked so delicious I really struggled to decide lol. New menu items come out often haha. The current new item is the wakppu salt bread!!! First time trying it and I fell for it ❤️ They even give you plastic gloves so it's easy to tear apart haha.

Popular item chocolate baguette — grab it before it sells out

Chocolate baguette is BYWAY BAKERS' popular item and luckily there was one left, so I got it-!! The chocolate baguette is also apparently a new menu item! If you visit late, a lot of the breads seem to sell out ㅠㅠ so if there's bread you want, I recommend visiting early. Especially on weekends •••

Eating something sweet really made me happy ,, ❤️ I also ordered an iced americano to go with it-!! It paired so well. The chocolate baguette especially had this fudgy chocolate that was totally my style!!!

Cake zone and whole cake orders

This is the cake zone at BYWAY BAKERS Yeongdeungpo Branch :) There was a wide variety of cakes, and seeing that every table had a slice of cake on it, this place seems to be known for cakes too haha. You could also order a spoonable-style whole cake.
