Jamsil outfield food truck lineup: hot dog, nachos, bingsu

Following up on my last post, this time I want to recommend some food at Jamsil Baseball Stadium. I tried all three food trucks that opened this season~ So let me introduce Bingdongdaeng, Station, and Ippeun Yeou Hotdog all at once!

Where the Jamsil Baseball Stadium food trucks are, and how to get there from Sports Complex Station

The Jamsil Baseball Stadium food trucks are located next to the outfield's first ticket booth. Come out of Sports Complex Station Exit 5 and go straight to the left, and you'll see them right away! I always thought it was a shame that the outfield had so much less food than the infield, so I was happy to see food trucks show up ⸜( •ᴗ• )⸝

Ippeun Yeou Hotdog - 5 hot dogs, 3 fries, 4 shakes

The first place I visited was 'Ippeun Yeou Hotdog,' where you can get hot dogs, fries, and shakes. The name was so distinctive that I remembered it, but I'm only just now trying it~

There's a menu board attached to the pillar next to the food truck. There are 5 kinds of hot dogs and 3 kinds of fries, plus 4 shake flavors.

Both the hot dog and the fries seemed like they'd go well with a shake, so it was hard to choose!!! If there are two of you, the set menu with hot bar BBQ, chipotle fries, and a shake looks great too.

Station - cream shrimp, gonsami, nachos, slushies

After ordering the hot dog, we moved right over to 'Station'~ They sell their signature cream shrimp along with gonsami (konjac pork belly cold noodles), Station nachos, and slushies.

Station nachos come in two options, cream or salsa! The slushie cups were so cute lol, I really wanted one.

I was so, so happy that cream shrimp, which used to only be at Munhak and Gocheok stadiums, is now at Jamsil too,,, (*´∪`)

Bingdongdaeng - from bingsu to fish cake, tteokbokki, and chapssal sundae

Last stop, off to order 'Bingdongdaeng'~ Along with their signature bingsu (shaved ice dessert), they were also selling snack menu items like fish cake, tteokbokki, chapssal sundae, and slushies. You can handle a full meal and dessert at Bingdongdaeng alone~!

We picked bingsu for dessert. All three places got our orders out quickly, so thankfully we made it in before the game started!

Choco Oreo bingsu, with Oreo covering all the ice

Gotta eat the bingsu first before it melts~~~ I picked the choco Oreo bingsu, and it was piled so high with Oreo you couldn't even see the ice!

Under the Oreo there's ice, and under that there's chocolate sauce, so you have to mix it all together well haha

Even though it's a choco Oreo bingsu, it wasn't too sweet, so I finished the whole thing without getting tired of it. Would be perfect for a ballpark visit on a hot summer day!

Bacon corn mayo hot dog, not greasy at all

Finished off the bingsu and moved straight on to the next ballpark food... We picked cream shrimp and the bacon corn mayo hot dog, which looks so good doesn't it!!

The bacon corn mayo hot dog has bread and sausage with bacon, corn, vegetables, and a mayo sauce combo. You can tell at a glance the toppings are loaded on.

I was a little worried the bacon, sausage, and mayo sauce combo might be too greasy, but the mayo sauce actually went really well with it~

And there were vegetables under the sausage too, so the balance was just right.

Cream shrimp and nachos, this time totally crispy

Last ballpark food of the day was cream shrimp! Actually I'd had it once before, so I ordered already knowing it would be good lol

The crispy fried shrimp with cream sauce combo is always delicious~ The shrimp were huge and had a nice bouncy texture, the best!

And honestly what surprised me was the nachos. Last time I had them, the nachos were soggy and kind of disappointing ㅠㅠ (maybe because it was super humid that day). But this time was different, totally crispy! The nachos went great with the cream sauce too, and I finished them all happily haha

If you're in the outfield, food trucks beat delivery

If you go to Jamsil Baseball Stadium often and want to try something new, and especially if you're watching from the outfield, skip the hassle of ordering delivery and try the food trucks~ Hot dogs, fries, fish cake, tteokbokki, cream shrimp, gonsami, bingsu, slushies... the menu is so varied that I'd recommend this as a must-try food spot at Jamsil Baseball Stadium ദ്ദി( • ᴗ < )
