Where is bd Burger Seongsu and what are its hours?

bd Burger is a famous handmade burger spot near Seongsu Station, located on the 2nd floor of 7 Seongsu-iro 14-gil, Seongdong-gu, Seoul. It's open weekdays from 11:30 to 21:00, with last order at 20:30, and it never closes for a day off. Naver Reservation is available, and takeout, reservations, and group visits are all possible.

I visited here once with friends a while back and it was so good it stuck in my head ever since — today I'm introducing bd Burger.

Since I was in Seongsu-dong again after a while, I didn't hesitate — straight over for a Seongsu Station burger!

Noon on a weekday: can you still get a table?

Arriving at bd Burger Seongsu around noon on a weekday, there were plenty of seats since it had just opened. But not long after ordering, customers started trickling in one by one, and true to its hot-spot status, it quickly filled up with people.

By the time we finished eating and were leaving, it was already completely full — a real reminder of why this place is still such a hit haha. If you're out and about in Seongsu-dong looking for a can't-fail meal, this is a guaranteed pass.

Right by the front of the store, everything you need for your meal is ready to go — wet wipes, disposable gloves, tissues, ketchup!

You order by tablet right at your table. I swapped out the fries that came with each set — one for eggplant & mushroom fritters, one for butter garlic fries. And added two refreshing corn salads on top~~

How do the wasabi shrimp and double cheese burgers taste?

bd Burger's Wasabi Shrimp Burger has an insanely thick whole-shrimp patty that really deserves the nickname "chunky cutlet." I remember being shocked the first time I had a shrimp burger here, and it's still crispy outside and plump inside — really delicious. When I think "chunky-cutlet shrimp burger," this is the one and only Seongsu Station burger that comes to mind 🍔

You can really bite into whole pieces of shrimp.

The Double Cheese Burger is overwhelming from the visual alone. Between the thick, well-grilled double beef patties, gooey yellow cheese melts down like a waterfall. The deep cheese aroma soaked through the juicy meat . . . it was such an over-the-top-looking dish that made me want to steal a bite.

Eggplant & mushroom fritters, butter garlic fries and corn salad

The eggplant & mushroom fritters we swapped in as a side. I don't think this was on the menu last time I came — I guess quite a bit of time has passed ^ // ^)

Dipping them into the ranch sauce that comes alongside is such a great combo. Crispy outside, tender inside, with that tangy, savory sauce — it made me realize this place is good at fried sides too.

The Butter Garlic Fries — crispy seasoned potatoes drenched in butter garlic sauce. It tasted exactly like my favorite thing, kind of like cheese seasoning! I mean, obviously it's delicious, right?

Whenever you need a little refresh in between bites, the tangy corn salad hits the spot perfectly~ The sides were all so good individually that the extra cost really didn't feel wasted at all — great value.

Is bd Burger Seongsu worth a return visit?

Even though it had been a while since my last visit, it's still just as good as its reputation — the kind of Seongsu Station burger spot that leaves you full and happy. If you're looking for something delicious to eat in Seongsu, look up and there's bd Burger.
