In short
5to7 Seongsu Main Branch is a soufflé pancake café in Seongdong, Seoul, a 4-minute walk from Seoul Forest Station Exit 5. I went to 5 to 7, a Seongsu café known for its mangosteen soufflé! The soufflé is soft and fluffy enough to enjoy on its own, but it came piled with sweet mangosteen, and I really enjoyed it! The vibe was cozy and comfortable enough that I stayed a while — let me introduce Seongsu café 5 to 7 in detail!

Why the mangosteen soufflé instead of the other flavors
5to7 Seongsu Main Branch offers a variety of soufflés — fig, pearl cream, tiramisu, and matcha soufflé — but the one I'd been most looking forward to was the mangosteen soufflé!!! I really love mangosteen, and once I saw that visual piled high with mangosteen, there was no way I wasn't ordering it..!

Inside 5to7: 1st floor, terrace and 2nd-floor window seats
Walking into the 1st floor, it was already packed with customers! I looked around the terrace and 2nd floor first.

The weather's been cool lately so I thought about sitting on the terrace, but ended up heading up to the 2nd floor haha

The wide floor-to-ceiling windows, wooden furniture, and lush green plants made the 2nd floor so pretty!

The lighting was a bit dim, which made for a comfortable atmosphere. There's a rooftop too, but it was raining that day so I couldn't check it out ㅠㅠ!

Is the 28,000-won mangosteen soufflé worth the price?
I ordered the mangosteen soufflé, which looked like it was overflowing with mangosteen, along with a passionfruit ade and an americano! The sweet, perfectly ripe mangosteen, the moist and fluffy soufflé, and the nutty, soft whipped cream all came together beautifully*_*
It was loaded with so much mangosteen that the ₩28,000 price didn't feel wasted at all — satisfying! I used to buy mangosteen at Korean marts and be disappointed that it wasn't the same taste and quality as what I had in Thailand, but the mangosteen quality in 5to7 Seongsu's soufflé was really good... moist, sweet, and fragrant mangosteen!

How the soufflé, passionfruit ade and Dutch cold brew tasted
And the soufflé itself...?! Whether they used a ton of egg or what, but the nutty flavor and soft texture... the whipped cream was piled on generously too, so I enjoyed it happily down to the last bite.
The passionfruit ade was tangy and sweet, making it a great pairing with the dessert!
The cold brew, rather than the usual bitterness, was on the smoother, cleaner side, so it was nice to enjoy lightly with its mellow, nutty flavor!
Overall review of my visit to 5to7 Seongsu café

Final verdict on 5to7 Seongsu Main Branch
If you like mangosteen, 5 to 7 is a Seongsu café worth visiting at least once! The moist, fluffy soufflé piled high with sweet, fragrant mangosteen was satisfying from the visual all the way to the taste! The 2nd floor, with its floor-to-ceiling windows, wooden furniture, and plants, had a cozy, comfortable atmosphere perfect for spending time leisurely~ The mangosteen soufflé in particular had such a generous amount of mangosteen piled on that it was really satisfying! If you're looking for a good-vibe café near Seoul Forest or want to try a special soufflé, I recommend Seongsu café 5 to 7!
