For parking at Teuwaetmoa Changwon Branch, I recommend the public parking lot right in front of the café, or roadside parking :) There wasn't a space when I arrived, so I parked on the roadside too!

A leafy entrance and a compact space full of European charm

Isn't the entrance atmosphere just so good,,,💚 That lush green feel is exactly my style! Why did I only just find out there was a café like this in my neighborhood,,? It's probably not even a 10-minute walk from home,, They said it's been open for around two years now 🤢

It opens at 1 p.m. only on Sundays, so do check before you visit!

The café is small and cozy! The male owner runs it on his own, and he's decorated this tiny café so beautifully with plenty of European charm, you know?

Choose your menu at the table, then order

We naturally assumed we'd look over the menu and order at the counter, so we went there first. But the owner told us to choose our menu at the table before coming up, and I loved that we could take our time without feeling pressured if another guest happened to be waiting behind us!? Every little accessory was so fresh and cute—I just loved it,,🥹

After ordering, we looked around the café, and the owner must have such a great eye,, Everything was decorated so carefully that it was beautiful and made me happy. Seriously, why did I only find this place now,,?

And there was even a fig tree in a planter out front! Looking at Instagram, it seemed like they use figs the owner grows himself!? I can't even imagine how it must feel to lovingly grow them, watering them himself, then turn them into something delicious for guests. If people enjoy them, that sense of pride must double too, haha. Another thing that made me feel how much care goes into the café: there is a flower shop in front of Teuwaetmoa Changwon Branch, and I saw him choose and buy flowers there himself, then arrange them beautifully in vases inside. It really felt like this place is full of affection, haha.

Fig Oji toast and coffee

We ordered the fig Oji toast, a vanilla latte, and an Americano! Please note that the fig Oji toast is made to order and takes about 10 minutes to come out :)

The fig Oji toast was plated so beautifully,, Isn't it gorgeousㅠ💚

The Americano had a full body and an incredibly clean finish! When coffee is made badly, the finish can taste bitter or burnt, but Teuwaetmoa Changwon Branch's was clean and went down easily. The vanilla latte had that added vanilla sweetness, and my friend absolutely loved it!!🤎

The fig Oji toast is chewy aged bread toasted in maple butter! I was told it is a seasonal menu layered with a rich purée sauce made with herbs and figs, plus yogurt cream made with Greek yogurt. When I heard the cream was made with Greek yogurt, I went, oh? and tried the cream on its own—and the tanginess really popped!? The purée sauce and yogurt cream went so well together that I soaked the bread in the purée, piled on the yogurt cream, and it just melted in my mouth,,🥹

We scraped up every last bit of cream from the fig Oji toast,, It was so deliciousㅜ 👏🏻🤎

A Changwon brunch café for a quiet reset

After visiting Teuwaetmoa Changwon Branch, I was surprised that such a pretty, atmospheric café had been this close to my home, and surprised again because the toast was a new flavor combination yet so delicious! The atmosphere is lovely but it's also quiet, so it really is the perfect café to go and unwind in!? I think it would be easy to drop by whenever you're craving brunch. I think I'll come here often for a walk and brunch with my fiancé, haha🤎
