Chat Baker, a relaxing stop near Anseong Farm Land
If you are looking for a spacious, atmospheric bakery café in Anseong, Chat Baker is well worth a visit! I ended up stopping by while looking for a nice café in Anseong, and I had such a lovely time—the space was bigger than I expected, and the bread was delicious too. I think it is especially good to keep in mind if you are looking for a café near Anseong Farm Land. After a day out at Farm Land, there are those moments when you quietly want to sit down and have a cup of coffee, haha.

It had just the right atmosphere for a stop on a day like that. First of all, I liked that it was easy to visit by car. There was plenty of parking, so I could come comfortably without the stress of finding a space. Since people often get around Anseong by car, parking convenience turns out to be quite important when choosing a café!
Once inside, the café was more spacious and pleasant than I had expected. It has a first and second floor, so it never felt cramped. I saw families, groups of friends, and couples who looked like they were on dates, so it seemed well suited to all kinds of visits. Personally, I thought it would be great for families and equally nice as a date spot.

A water feature and a choice of coffee beans
The roomy setting made it easy to chat comfortably, and there were distinctive touches all around, so it was fun to enjoy the café itself rather than simply drink coffee and leave. What I remember most was the area where water runs down the full glass window.
It caught my eye from the moment I saw it. Watching the water flow somehow made me feel refreshed. I think it would feel even cooler and more relaxing visually on a hot day. Just sitting there absentmindedly watching the water felt quietly healing, haha.
I also liked that I could choose the flavor profile of the coffee beans when ordering coffee! Everyone's coffee preferences are a little different, right? Some people like a rich, full-bodied cup, while others prefer something smooth and bright, so being able to choose beans to suit my taste made drinking coffee even more enjoyable.

Bread so good, I packed some for my friends
And of course, at a bakery café, you cannot leave out the bread! It was so tasty that, after trying it, I ended up packing some for friends I was meeting later that afternoon, haha.

Delicious things taste even better when shared! At first, I was only thinking about bread for myself, but once I tasted it, my friends came to mind. I thought, “They have to try this too!” and naturally ended up getting some to go, haha.

When I was packing it up, a staff member asked, “Would you like us to slice the bread?” and I immediately said, “Please slice it!” haha. They promptly sliced it so neatly before packing it. If I had cut it myself at home, would it really have looked that pretty? Hahaha. I can confidently say that I would not have managed it!

Having it sliced and packed so nicely made it feel less like I was simply taking bread home and more like I was preparing a little gift. Just thinking about sharing delicious bread with my friends made me happy too, haha.
A place where I want to try the pasta next time
I had thought Chat Baker was simply a place for bread and coffee, but I found out that people also say the pasta is delicious. This time I only enjoyed the café and bakery, but next time I would like to visit with more time and try a meal such as pasta too.

I had a cup of coffee in the spacious, pleasant setting, chose beans to suit my taste, and enjoyed delicious bread! There is even a microwave so you can warm your bread whenever it gets cold. With the refreshing water feature too, I think I spent an even more leisurely time there than I expected. If you are looking for a café near Anseong Farm Land, an Anseong café that is good for visiting with family, or a bakery café for a date, I think Chat Baker is worth stopping by. Next time, I am definitely going to try the pasta everyone says is good—and pack up some bread for myself this time, haha :)
