Incheon restaurant, nakji-bulgogi set for 3: Boksakkot Pineun Jip
In short
Boksakkot Pineun Jip Incheon Branch is a restaurant on Hoguporo in Namdong, Incheon, specialising in jjukkumi (spicy baby octopus), nakji (long-arm octopus) and bulgogi. Three of us reserved a table and ordered the nakji-and-bulgogi set for two, one portion of charcoal-fired jjukkumi stir-fry and a gorgonzola wood-fired pizza, and the seasonal pizza, salad, mukbap (chilled mung bean jelly soup) and takeout coffee came with the set at no extra cost. Portions at Boksakkot Pineun Jip were big enough that the staff packed up the leftovers, making it an easy choice for a family meal out.

Hi everyone! It's Woongnoong!
On a trip to see my mom, I stopped by Boksakkot Pineun Jip Incheon Branch for lunch! Sharing this with anyone looking for a good jjukkumi (spicy octopus) spot in Guwol-dong, haha.

- Hours: Daily 11:00–21:30 (break time 15:30–16:30)

- Separate men's/women's restrooms, reservations, takeout, group dining available, free parking
- High chair, Wi-Fi, and waiting area available!

Parking and how to find the entrance
I'd recommend driving rather than public transit! The parking lot is huge, so no worries there.
If you're looking for a place to eat near the agricultural and fisheries market, or heading toward Incheon Grand Park, Munhak Stadium, or Guwol Asiad, this spot fits right into your route!

The whole building is run by Boksakkot Pineun Jip, which makes it perfect for group or family gatherings!

Seating and the reserved table at Boksakkot Pineun Jip
With both floor seating and table seating, it seemed great for bringing kids along too, haha. We visited after reserving and were shown to a reserved table with an open view outside!

The restrooms were also separated by gender, so nice and clean to use! Boksakkot Pineun Jip Incheon Branch has more than just jjukkumi — nakji, bulgogi, seafood king short rib jjim, and kid-friendly options like spaghetti and pork cutlet too, so it's a great spot for the whole family!

What three people ordered, and what the set includes free
Nakji-and-bulgogi for 2 Charcoal-fired jjukkumi stir-fry for 1 Gorgonzola pizza
Nakji-and-bulgogi requires a minimum of 2 people, so we ordered that for two plus the jjukkumi stir-fry! You can also choose your spice level! Order this set and the seasonal pizza, salad, mukbap (mung bean jelly soup), and takeout coffee are all included free!

The amazing part — soda and yagwanmun tea are free here! As a soda lover, that made me shout with joy >_< There's a self-bar too, so it feels very generous!
Four kinds of seasoned vegetable side dishes come as banchan, plus a fresh salad!
Even the mukbap was a generous portion for three of us! Still warm out, so cooling off with mukbap before the pizza arrives — practically a full course meal!

The gorgonzola wood-fired pizza
We asked for gorgonzola on the handmade wood-fired pizza! Dipped in honey it's ridiculously good, and it pairs perfectly with the spicy jjukkumi that comes later to tame the heat, so we had it wait a bit, haha.

How does the nakji and bulgogi for two taste?
The bulgogi hot pot was already loaded with glass noodles, enoki mushrooms, and vegetables, plus they gave us udon noodles too — already filling before it even starts bubbling >_<
The nakji stir-fry came out too! Can you see how plump the octopus is? Ordering nakji and bulgogi together means you get the charcoal-fired style paired with sweet bulgogi — a can't-lose combo, haha. The octopus had a wonderfully chewy texture, and the stir-fried vegetables were crisp with great bite!

Charcoal-fired jjukkumi stir-fry: how smoky is it?
A totally different charm from the nakji! Jjukkumi is good made at home too, but without a torch it's hard to get that charcoal-fired aroma — this was properly smoky and the sauce soaked in beautifully. The jjukkumi stir-fry also came with bean sprouts and lettuce for wrapping, so you can go straight to wrapping it up!

The jjukkumi was so chewy with great bite, and since we ordered the sauce spicy, it kept us reaching for more!

There was plenty of sauce left, so we could add another bowl of rice and mix it in, haha.
Once things were cooked enough, they added in udon noodles to cook together! (I want it again already...) The sauce was coating them perfectly.
The bulgogi was also generously portioned and hearty! Wrap the nakji in bulgogi and you instantly become the ruler of the table.
Is the food enough for three people?
Mom had the jjukkumi, I had the bulgogi! There were three of us, and we ordered accordingly, but with the pizza, salad, and mukbap all included in the set, the table ended up seriously packed — the portions were so large we actually had to leave food behind, sob.

We thought about just leaving the leftovers, but they packed it up so neatly that we took it to go right away! Being able to bring home the leftovers made it that much more satisfying!

Review event and the takeout coffee after the meal
Definitely leave a review — you get free ice cream or rice puffs! There's a good variety of ice cream and it's affordable, so it made for a perfect dessert, haha.
And right after the meal, a takeout drink too! Usually after lunch you're stuck thinking 'should I get coffee? where do I go?' and wandering off to find a café, but at Boksakkot Pineun Jip Incheon Branch you can have your coffee right there — such a win. Being able to handle the whole meal-to-coffee routine in one spot makes it even more convenient for family outings or group get-togethers!

There's also an outdoor garden terrace, and other guests were relaxing there with their coffee! We had another appointment to get to, so we reluctantly saved it for next time, haha.

Is Boksakkot Pineun Jip Incheon Branch worth a visit?
