Gambas oil pasta and ricotta salad set for two at Withwich, Namdong

My boyfriend and I have been together for over 10 years now..... and we don't do salad, pasta, pizza kind of dates! We eat meat, drown things in red sauce, fry up some rice ❗ We don't go to pretty cafés for pretty desserts either — we grab cheap takeout coffee and head straight to noraebang (haha)

Anyway, that's me, but lately I've been obsessed with this song 🎤🎶 Solan - Ricotta Cheese Salad.

That's the lyric, and after listening to it so many times I desperately wanted ricotta cheese salad. Shrimp pasta too, aglio e olio too ❕🥹

If I want it, I'm eating it! I called my boyfriend and told him we had to have pasta today, and we ran straight to Withwich, a pasta favorite in Guwol-dong located in the Guwol Asiad complex 💨

Back when I was deep into dieting, I once visited Withwich with my boyfriend eating pasta while I had salad — and I had no idea back then that Withwich was a 2025-2026 Blue Ribbon restaurant ❕✨

This pasta favorite in Guwol-dong has emotional yet slightly quirky interior design! It's a cool sky concept — clouds and birds painted on the ceiling, and even the air conditioner painted sky blue. Why is the owner so committed to the sky ☁️🤍

We ordered the set for two with ricotta house salad, pasta, pizza, and two drinks. Normally I'd automatically pick zero-calorie cola, but because of Withwich's roasting room and coffee traceability system, I was curious about the coffee, so I chose an iced Americano for one of the drinks.

After ordering, you grab the utensils, water, and pickles you need from the self-serve bar, then take a seat — the dishes are brought to your table as they're ready.

Yes! This is exactly what I wanted..💗 Seeing it laid out with three big plates, the portion looks pretty generous! But minus the salad it's just two mains, so it's plenty enough for two people.

Ri~co~ta~ cheese~ salad~ 🥗 The song kept playing in my head, which is exactly why I wanted this, and honestly, they must have eaten this salad so many delicious times to write a masterpiece like that 〰️

Fresh greens, savory ricotta cheese, a tangy balsamic dressing that keeps the salad from getting boring, plus sweet corn kernels you bite into now and then! This is just a perfect combo 🌽

Next up, the subtly spicy gambas oil pasta 🦐 I went back and forth between cream, tomato, or oil sauce, and picked oil for the first time in a while — a total success!

Springy noodles, plump shrimp with a hint of basil, garlic fried in peperoncino, and chewy mushrooms — one big bite of it all is amazing ❕✨ This is the PO⚡WER of a Guwol-dong pasta place that's made the Blue Ribbon list two years running 〰️

Bulgogi bacon cheese pizza

Last up, bulgogi bacon pizza 🍕 I prefer a thicker pizza to wood-fired style, so I figured this one would just be for filling up, but it turns out Withwich is good at pizza too.

Sweet bulgogi, salty bacon, and a tangy-sweet white sauce came together in a sweet-and-salty combo I couldn't stop eating. In the end, my portion control failed.....(^🐽^)🤍 But it was so good!

Next time, sandwich and iced Americano

I didn't get a photo, but the coffee was great too! Withwich is a Guwol-dong pasta favorite that's also genuinely famous for its sandwiches, so next time I'm going for a sandwich and an iced Americano.
