Big ocean-view café vs. cute dessert café: the verdict was Gluttony Coffee

This café had exactly the vibe and taste I wanted. My boyfriend wanted a big café with an ocean view, while I wanted somewhere pretty and small with great desserts, so we had a little disagreement haha. But once we actually got here, my boyfriend ended up liking it even more than me 🤍

The chairs were comfortable and pretty, and there were surprisingly many photo spots too, so there was a lot to shoot and a lot to eat haha. It's not like I didn't eat anything during the wedding photo shoot, but I did feel a bit self-conscious before shooting. Once the shoot was over, though — just full-on eating mode.

I ate so much I wondered if this was even okay, ha. In the end I just ordered every dessert I wanted haha. The owner said they'd pack up whatever we couldn't finish, so I ate with even less worry lol. I felt a little embarrassed for ordering so much, but hey, the wedding shoot was over so I figured I earned it lol.

Which flavor of levain cookie to pick

There were so many kinds of levain cookies! There were so many options I stood there deliberating forever 🤍 In the end I picked hazelnut Nutella and hazelnut dark chocolate. After the wedding shoot I honestly really needed something sweet lol. I decided today was the day to properly refuel on sugar 😎

And the other desserts and cakes! There was even a fig cake 🤍

Why this was such a good café to sit in for a long time

From blankets to charging seats to water stations, the owner's thoughtfulness shows up everywhere in this café :) It has a hip vibe but stays clean, and best of all it was just comfortable to hang around in! A café that nails both atmosphere and comfort like this is genuinely rare 🥺🤍 So I've already saved it straight to my Jeju food list! Somewhere I'd love to stop by again next time I'm in Jeju.

How the watermelon ttaengmoban tastes

Honestly, this drink, watermelon ttaengmoban, is the reason I sought this place out.. ❤️ It looked so good just from the visuals that I got curious, and once I tried it, it was genuinely delicious!! The natural watermelon flavor comes through fully, with no artificial syrupy taste at all — it just tastes like real, delicious watermelon 🍉 You could really feel that cool watermelon flavor, and it was a drink I thoroughly enjoyed.

Is the Gluttony latte sweet?

I was curious so I ordered the Gluttony latte ☕️ I wondered what it would taste like, and it turned out to be much less sweet than expected and had a clean flavor, which I liked. It wasn't overwhelmingly sweet, so it paired really well with dessert too 🤎 Especially with the levain cookies, it went together surprisingly well! It was a satisfying flavor that even people who don't like overly sweet drinks could enjoy without any burden.

The Summer latte with ice cream in it

And the Summer latte — the name itself made me curious, so I ordered it haha ☕️🍦 It's a latte with ice cream in it, so I first scooped up a bit of the ice cream to try, and it was soft and sweet and delicious 🤎 As the ice cream melted and blended naturally into the latte, it became even smoother to drink!

The levain cookie with thick Nutella spread on it was genuinely delicious. My sugar levels were properly restored. I'll quietly recommend the levain cookies 🤎
