Myeongnyun Station sushi restaurant with upgraded sets: Moshi Moshi
In short
Moshi Moshi Sushi, Lotte Department Store Dongnae Branch is a Japanese restaurant in the 8th-floor dining area of Lotte Department Store in Dongnae-gu, Busan. Two of the single-serving hoehansang (sashimi and sushi set) with the "better one" upgrade option brought sushi, sashimi, udon and tempura to the table at once. Moshi moshi~ •̀ᴗ•̀ Went to Lotte Department Store Dongnae with my mom and stopped for lunch at Moshi Moshi Dongnae! It's on the 8th floor dining area of the department store, so it turned out to be a great spot to hit up before or after shopping or catching a movie at Lotte Cinema Dongnae.

This time my mom and I tried the hoehansang (sashimi set), and sushi, sashimi, udon, and tempura all came out together, so the spread was way more substantial than I expected. For anyone looking for a sushi restaurant near Myeongnyun Station or a lunch spot there, let me walk you through what I ordered!
Where is Moshi Moshi Sushi Dongnae? 8th floor of Lotte Department Store
Moshi Moshi Sushi Dongnae is on the 8th floor dining area of Lotte Department Store Dongnae Branch. It's an easy walk straight from Myeongnyun Station to the department store, so it works well as a Myeongnyun Station lunch spot, and it's also perfect if you're coming to catch a movie at Lotte Cinema Dongnae and want to eat too.

Moshi Moshi is on the 8th floor dining area of Lotte Department Store Dongnae, right in front of the escalator, so it was easy to find! A great spot even for the directionally challenged.

The place was clean, the table seats were plenty, and the spacing was generous, so it looked comfortable for a meal. It seemed like a good spot for a family meal or bringing your parents along, and sure enough, the age range of customers was pretty diverse. My mom even said we should bring the whole family next time 😋

The menu ranges from sushi to udon, sashimi, rice bowls, and sets, so it seems like a good place to come among the restaurants in Lotte Department Store Dongnae when you're craving Japanese food 🍣
Two hoehansang sets and the "better one" upgrade
The hoehansang at Moshi Moshi Dongnae is a solo menu item, so since we visited as two, we ordered two. You order through the kiosk at each table, and there was an option called 'better one,' so since we were eating anyway, I figured let's go for the good stuff and picked it right away lol.

The moment the set arrived, I was so happy the spread was more generous than I expected! It wasn't just sushi—sashimi, udon, and tempura all came out together.

For anyone like me looking for a sushi restaurant near Myeongnyun Station who finds sushi alone a bit lacking, this is a really good combination. It looked neat and tidy too—officially a solid sushi spot in Dongnae.
What comes on the tray: sushi, sashimi, udon and tempura

It was fun trying the sushi one piece at a time, each kind different. Not totally sure why, but my mom said you're supposed to eat from the left, so I ate from the left? Such an obedient daughter ✌🏻

The sashimi that came with it was good too...

The sashimi was sliced thick so you could really feel the texture as you ate. Personally I liked the sashimi just as much as the sushi—came for a sushi restaurant near Myeongnyun Station and ended up thoroughly enjoying the sashimi too!

Oh, and the udon was good too. A sip of warm broth, then sushi, then tempura—the combo was so good!!

The tempura was crispy too 🍤

The shrimp tempura in particular was plump with a crispy coating and really tasty. With a spread like this, it's excellent not just as a sushi spot in Dongnae but as a filling lunch option near Myeongnyun Station.
Is Moshi Moshi Sushi good for lunch with your mom?

With my mom and me each having our own set, the portion wasn't lacking and the variety was great. Most of all, what I loved was that it wasn't just sushi—you get to eat sashimi, udon, and tempura all together too.
Since it's inside Lotte Department Store, it's easy to get to, and it's great to go straight to shopping or a movie afterward, so I'll definitely think of it again when looking for a place to eat near Lotte Cinema Dongnae. If you're looking among the restaurants in Lotte Department Store Dongnae, sushi spots in Dongnae, or lunch spots near Myeongnyun Station and want a clean, full Japanese meal, I recommend Moshi Moshi :)
