Where is Moshi Moshi Sushi and where do you park?

Moshi Moshi Sushi sits on the 8th floor dining hall of Lotte Department Store Dongnae Branch, so it's a convenient stop before or after shopping or a movie. Since we drove, we could use the department store parking lot, which took away any worry about parking.

We went during an early weekend lunch slot, before the main lunch rush hit, so we got seated with no wait at all. If you want to cut down on weekend waiting time, going a bit earlier seems like a good move.

It's also close to Myeongnyun Station, so it's worth keeping in mind if you're looking for a good sushi spot near Myeongnyun Station to eat inside the department store.

Inside the Dongnae branch: sushi bar, tables and baby chairs

Since it's in a department store dining hall, I expected it to be small, but the interior turned out to be roomier than I thought.

There's an open sushi bar section along with regular tables, and the gaps between tables are wide enough that you don't feel crammed next to your neighbors. Further inside, there's seating built for larger groups, which would work well for family gatherings or group meals too.

Several baby chairs were on hand, and each table had a tablet, so we could take our time looking over the menu before ordering. Overall it felt more like an independent Japanese restaurant than a food court, so we could sit comfortably with the kids.

Menu and prices at Moshi Moshi Sushi

The menu ranged from single sushi orders to combo plates, sets, udon, soba, and a kids' menu.

With kids, the first worry at a sushi place is usually "will there be anything for them to eat?" — but here we could order just the pieces kids tend to like, such as tamago sushi or inari sushi, individually.

There was also a pork cutlet and mini udon kids' menu for children who aren't into sushi, which made choosing easy.

We ordered Set 3 for the adults, and for the kids, à la carte inari and tamago sushi plus the pork cutlet + mini udon set.

How generous is Set 3?

The adults' set wasn't just sushi — it came with quite a varied spread.

First came a salad, tofu salad, miso soup and side dishes, and the main sushi plate had a nice variety — white fish, salmon, shrimp, tuna, eel — so it was fun picking through them one by one.

On top of that came crispy shrimp tempura and yaki udon, which made the whole meal much more filling than sushi alone.

The yaki udon had vegetables like bean sprouts and cabbage mixed in, topped generously with bonito flakes, and it went well eaten alongside the sushi. If you're visiting with a group, this would also be a good spread to share the sushi and sides around the table.

Why Moshi Moshi Sushi works with young kids

Kids have very clear preferences, so ordering a sushi set usually means some pieces get left uneaten. This time, though, being able to order just the inari and tamago sushi they liked made things much easier.

The pork cutlet + mini udon kids' menu made this a good option even for kids who don't eat much sushi, and the shrimp tempura was easy for kids to enjoy too.

With baby chairs, wide seating gaps, and department store parking all available, it covered pretty much everything you'd want when eating out with kids.

Would we recommend Moshi Moshi Sushi in Dongnae?

Even though it was a weekend, going for an early lunch meant we ate without waiting, and the fact that both kids and adults could each order what they wanted was the biggest plus.

Adults could eat heartily with a set that included thick sashimi-topped sushi, shrimp tempura, and yaki udon, while kids could pick individual sushi pieces or go for the pork cutlet and udon — making it easy to satisfy the whole family's different tastes.
