Double bacon cheeseburger and beer at Bass Burger, Sinyongsan, Yongsan

In short

Bass Burger Sinyongsan is a burger restaurant near the entrance of Yongridan-gil in Yongsan, Seoul, known for unlimited potato chip refills. The writer ordered a double bacon cheeseburger set and a Bass Burger (double) set, swapped the drinks for Bass Lager beer, and added fries and a chili cheese mozza cheese bar as sides. Having also visited the Euljiro and Yeouido branches, the writer found the Sinyongsan location the tastiest of all, satisfying enough to order an extra burger and beer.

I had #hamburger at #BassBurgerSinyongsan! I've been to the Euljiro and Yeouido branches too, but I think the Sinyongsan Bass Burger is the tastiest. I stuffed myself with unlimited chip refills and even ordered extra craft beer because it was so good — let me introduce #BassBurgerSinyongsan, a place I keep thinking about.

The Yongridan-gil mood, exactly as it is: Bass Burger Sinyongsan

Here's the sign for #BassBurgerSinyongsan, which fits perfectly with the vibe of Yongridan-gil. It had way more mood than the other branches I'd visited!

Potato chips, ketchup, mustard, and water were all self-serve here.

Interior lit by floor-to-ceiling windows

Light poured in through the floor-to-ceiling windows. They made great use of the space, too — there was a terrace as well as quite a lot of tables inside.

Swapping the set drinks for Bass Lager

We ordered the double bacon cheeseburger and the Bass Burger (double) sets. We swapped both drinks for Bass Lager beer haha.

True to its reputation as a #YongridangilRestaurant, there were plenty of side options, so along with the classic fries we also tried the chili cheese mozza cheese bar haha.

So how does the chili cheese mozza cheese bar taste?

The chili cheese mozza cheese bar felt like eating tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes) loaded with cheese! The cheese pulled in long stretchy strings and the sauce tasted just like tteokbokki, which cut right through the richness of the burgers.

Unlimited potato chip refills

The unlimited chip refills are one huge draw for me whenever I come to Bass Burger. The chips were so good that day that I refilled three times — not that I'm admitting it.

Bass Burger (double) and the double bacon cheeseburger

The Bass Burger (double), packed with vegetables and a juicy patty, tasted every bit like the signature Bass flavor you'd expect.

The draft beer was ice cold and paired so well with the burgers that we ended up ordering an extra of each.

The double bacon cheeseburger had clean, simple bacon and a cheese patty that let the juicy flavor really shine through.

I recommend visiting #Yongridangil's own #YongridangilBurgerSpot, #BassBurgerSinyongsan, which captures the neighborhood's mood perfectly.
