Gwangalli dessert café with alley parking and plants: Café Buajang
In short
Café Buajang is a dessert café set inside a renovated old house on a residential alley in Minrak-dong, Suyeong, Busan, a short hop from Gwangalli. Parking in the alley is tight, so the owner came out to point our car to a spot, and inside the plant-filled rooms we had the chestnut tiramisu with iced and hot Americano. Hours are 11:00 to 21:00, closed Tuesdays, and Café Buajang suits anyone looking for a quiet dessert stop after a meal in Gwangalli.

What kind of café is Café Buajang?
Café Buajang is a dessert café tucked into a residential alley in Minrak-dong, Suyeong-gu, Busan. I found it while looking for a nice café after eating in Gwangalli, and the old house had been renovated with so much charm that the vibe was great from the entrance onward.
Beyond coffee, they also have a wide variety of tiramisu and desserts, so I really wanted to introduce this place to anyone looking for a Gwangalli dessert café. Café Buajang, with its quiet and cozy atmosphere, totally won me over — let me show you around.
Where do you park at Café Buajang?
Café Buajang sits in an alley, so there isn't a lot of parking space nearby. The owner kindly directed me to an available spot, so I was able to park without any hassle.
If you're visiting by car, I'd recommend calling the café ahead of time to ask about parking!

Buajang (Voisin) means 'neighbor' in French, but honestly, said in Korean it kind of sounds like the name of a bathhouse, haha. Seeing the 'We do coffee' sign at the entrance, I think they leaned into that playful vibe on purpose.
Inside Café Buajang: a house full of plants
If I had to describe Buajang's overall vibe in one word, it would be 'plants.' There are big and small plants everywhere in the café, and what surprised me was that every single one looked so healthy!
I found myself wondering how on earth they manage to keep so many plants this lush and green — the whole space felt alive because of it. Even though it's a café in the middle of the city, it felt like stepping into a tiny botanical garden, cozy and fresh.

The interior at Buajang was impressively decorated in a cute yet distinctive way. Rather than a rigid, uniform layout, tables, small items, and plants are freely scattered around, and somehow it all comes together naturally. That mix of cute and comfortable felt like Buajang's own kind of charm.

Knit artwork and the restroom at Café Buajang
The owner also runs a knitting workshop, so you can spot handmade knit pieces scattered around the café. I knit as a hobby myself sometimes, so seeing these little works placed all over totally hit my sweet spot.

Can a bathroom really be this clean and pretty, haha? I thought only the café itself was nicely decorated, but even the bathroom had that same sense of style. It was so pretty I couldn't help snapping a photo.
Café Buajang menu and how to order

Now that I'd fully explored the café, it was time to order. The first thing that caught my eye at the counter was the tiramisu — so many kinds, and every single one looked delicious enough that I genuinely wanted to try them all, haha. Living up to its reputation as a top tiramisu spot in Busan, it took me a while to decide.
After a lot of deliberation, I went with the chestnut tiramisu, along with one iced Americano and one hot Americano. There was also a gelato menu on the side that I really wanted to try too — I'll save that for next time when I come back with my kid, haha.
How do the chestnut tiramisu and Americano taste?

My order finally arrived. The coffee and chestnut tiramisu came together on a warm-toned wooden tray, and the colors of the drink and dessert matched so nicely — it looked really pretty. It fit so well with Buajang's cute overall vibe that I took a photo before even taking a bite!

Before tasting, I let myself soak in Buajang's atmosphere for a bit.🌿☕️ Sitting among the green plants and cute little props, I felt strangely relaxed.

The chestnut tiramisu looked so pretty I almost didn't want to touch it. But I was too curious about the taste, so I dug in for a bite.
The soft cream, layered with the sweet, nutty flavor of chestnut, just melts in your mouth~
It wasn't just sweet — pairing it with the nutty coffee made for a really great combination. This one earns tiramisu-spot status for real 👏🏻 The soft texture and rich chestnut flavor kept me going back for bite after bite, haha. Buajang, this Gwangalli dessert spot, was satisfying enough that I'm now curious about the other tiramisu flavors too. I'll definitely have to try a different one next time.
Is Café Buajang worth a visit near Gwangalli?

A lush, plant-filled space with cute little props and knit crafts scattered throughout — Buajang definitely has its own distinct personality. Instead of a cookie-cutter interior, there was real fun in exploring every corner, and the warm, comfortable atmosphere made the time spent there really enjoyable. The chestnut tiramisu I'd been looking forward to didn't disappoint in looks or taste — officially a tiramisu spot worth recommending! 👏🏻
If you're looking for a nice space to enjoy coffee and delicious dessert together, I recommend Café Buajang, a Gwangalli dessert café. Next time, I'd love to come back with my kid and finally try the gelato.
