I visited Esthetia Pyeongchon Branch 1 (에스테티아 평촌1호점), a contour-focused skin-care salon in Pyeongchon that specializes in facial-line care and one-on-one customized consultations. Esthetia also has a Sanbon Branch 1, as well as this Pyeongchon Branch 1.
If you are concerned about your facial contours, I would recommend checking it out. This time, though, I received the LDM water-drop treatment rather than facial-line care, to give my skin some moisture. It had been so long since I last had a treatment that it made me think I really should get skin care more often from now on.
I should cut down on alcohol too, whenever possible. These days, I am realizing how truly bad alcohol is for skin because it takes away moisture. Since this year, people have gradually stopped asking to see my ID... But I did get asked for it yesterday once. Such a nice day ^__________^
How to find Esthetia Pyeongchon Branch 1 from Pyeongchon Station
The route here could be a little confusing, so let me guide you myself. Take Exit 2 at Pyeongchon Station. Can you see the building with Pyeongchon Baekeok Coffee and Seven Eleven? Go into that building, take the elevator to the third floor, and Esthetia Pyeongchon Branch 1 is immediately on the left. Suite 320.
It will be closed for this year’s Chuseok holiday from September 24 to 26, so please keep that in mind if you are planning to get skin care over Chuseok and do not want to make a wasted trip.
Since it is a contour-focused salon, Esthetia Pyeongchon Branch 1 is especially helpful for anyone seeking contour care. For public transit, there are village buses 8 and 2-1, local buses 6, 33, and 83, plus express buses. Parking is FREE, so you do not even have to take the bus here. This is why I like Esthetia.
Consultation and parking information
At the beginning of September, we started with a conversation. Esthetia’s skin-care manager handled it so thoroughly that I felt I could trust her.
For parking, enter the black-building parking lot from the alley by the Dongan Anyang Tax Office. The parking entrance is right next to the building on the right, so it can be confusing, but enter through the parking entrance on the left and park there.
In the locker room, take off your underwear and fasten the gown so that its Velcro closure sits at the front of your chest. It was convenient that I did not have to remove earrings or accessories separately. Indoor slippers are provided, so be sure to change out of your shoes, too.

There was also a limited September event underway. My concern was skin redness.
And as I get older, my skin tone keeps looking duller. I wanted to brighten it, so after our discussion, I decided to have an LDM water-drop device treatment at this Pyeongchon facial-care salon. It takes about 45 minutes.
From cleansing to hydration care and device treatment
They began with a thorough cleansing, then filled my skin with hydration.
After filling the skin with moisture, the LDM water-drop device treatment begins.
They help it absorb into the face with this little device. That is how it can really get in there! I have had so many skin concerns lately. Strangely, I do not get much acne, but as I get older, the increasingly dull tone has been my concern.
They treat you with a device you can trust, and the Head & Neck treatment, which loosens the neck and shoulders, costs ₩180,000. I really wanted to try that treatment next time.
The changing room is equipped with a hair dryer, comb, and hair spray, so feel free to use them comfortably.
The waiting sofa was kept clean as well, and I liked how kind the skin-care therapists were. They also explained everything in great detail. They explained exactly what issues I had with my skin, neck, and shoulders, even how tense they were, so I was able to find a direction for my home care.
