Yangsan Italian restaurant for seafood tomato pasta: Bueokgan

Bueokgan Oslo Park Branch has been such a hot spot in Yangsan lately, so I visited over the weekend! Let me tell you about Bueokgan Restaurant Yangsan Oslo Park Branch (부엌간레스토랑 양산오슬로파크점), which was perfect as a good restaurant near Pusan National University Yangsan Hospital and even as a brunch café!

Location, hours, and parking

Bueokgan Restaurant Yangsan Oslo Park Branch is right across from Pusan National University Yangsan Hospital, so you can get there on foot in under 10 minutes. It is right in the middle of downtown Yangsan too, haha.

• Parking: Plenty of supported parking underground at Oslo Park, and the garage is really spacious!

Ta-da! This is Bueokgan Restaurant. Take the escalator up once from the underground parking garage, and it is immediately on the left, haha. Bueokgan is a franchise that is famous in Busan these days, and now there is one in Yangsan too! I am so moved~~

Tablet ordering and a wide range of Italian dishes

You order on a tablet. There were seriously so many menu choices! Along with pasta and pizza, they sell steak, gnocchi, lasagna, and soup, so it felt like a great place for everyone of every age to enjoy together.

After much deliberation, we ordered vongole pasta, seafood tomato pasta, basil Margherita pizza, and Zero Coke! My husband said he was hungry, so we planned to get two dishes but ended up ordering three. In the end, it was all so delicious that we absolutely devoured it, haha.

A European-like atmosphere with generously spaced tables

How can this European-like atmosphere be in Yangsan? Bueokgan Oslo Park Branch has such pretty interiors! The tables were nicely spaced too, so it did not feel cramped.

Every angle was pretty, so it is perfect for coming by and setting the mood with that good-restaurant-near-Pusan-National-University-Yangsan-Hospital, brunch-café feel.

How quickly did our order arrive?

Here are the dishes we ordered. The portions were generous, and I loved that the pasta was packed with seafood without holding back!! Add the pretty atmosphere and it was the icing on the cake, hehe.

+ I think our dishes came out in under 15 minutes after we ordered. It can honestly feel a little burdensome to head out from Yangsan Pusan National University Hospital for weekday lunch, but the food here came quickly, so I do not think you would have to worry about that. That is why I would gently recommend it to anyone looking for a good lunch spot near the hospital... The food is so good.

How was the basil Margherita pizza?

First up, the basil Margherita pizza! The pizza crust was wonderfully crisp outside and soft inside, so I kept reaching for it. The basil pesto and arugula on top were so tasty, and it was a pizza I would want again next time too!! It was just the right size, so I think one pasta and one pizza would be perfect for two women, haha.

Seafood tomato pasta and vongole pasta

The seafood tomato pasta was packed with seafood such as shrimp and mussels too. I personally really, really love seafood tomato pasta, and this place totally won me over!! The tomato sauce was plentiful and nicely saucy, with a little kick that kept me coming back for more.

The shrimp were huge, fresh, and bouncy through and through! There were big mussels too, which made for such a nice bite, haha.

What can I say about vongole pasta? It is a classic of classics, but also one of those pastas that is hard to make truly delicious—and Bueokgan's vongole pasta passed the test. It was light yet delicious with the spicy touch of peperoncino, and they did not skimp on the clams either. At first, ₩20,000 for vongole felt a little pricey, but it was pasta worth the price, haha.

Bueokgan has such a pretty space that it was perfect for a date, and both the pizza and pasta were so delicious. I recommend Bueokgan Oslo Park Branch to anyone looking for great pizza and pasta in Yangsan, or an atmospheric restaurant near Pusan National University Yangsan Hospital! Haha.
